I actually disagree with that, because RL problems could always occur, have to leave for a business trip, internet goes out, family vacation, those sorts of things would really F*%$ you if you don't stay online to keep the weapon you worked so hard to have :/. And second I hope they don't have only a certain number of these epic weapons if they bring them in the game at all because well the same reasons above, but things like pre ordering, being a member on this site for however long, or some other thing that not everyone can get but is also fair.

According to the official site, the warband you choose will give you special bonuses and abilities (see space marines description) thus :
- warbands affiliated to one god may have the one god's given bonuses
- chaos undivided warbands may have a set of all gods bonuses

Classes will probably be space marines mirrors... specialization or elite class might depend of the warband, thus the affiliated god, you'll choose.

I would like it if once you reach the maximum rank, and are slain by another max rank of another faction, you could choose to be put in a dreadnought. If you belong to CSM or SM of course. Your dread could die once a day, and then that character would be unplayable, or not respawn for twenty four hours to compensate for the power level. You would be forced to play an alt for a while.

That will probably not happen, it would be to many dreadnaughts that aren't that common in WH40k lore

I'm just throwin out ideas, there are three dreads per company on average, so three max ranks per 100 players doesnt seem out of order.

Depends, I actually think there should be a leaderboard per chapter/craftworld/warband/clans, the 3 highest can Summon 1 dreadnaught each. Something like that, the higher you get on the leaderboard, the more extreme abbilites you get...

Or a voting system for where orbital strikes were placed would be really neat!
