Sonic weaponry has to be the greatest thing in the entire collective wargear of the 40k armies. This is my opinion and it is not up for debate. As such, I would happily worship the Dark Prince if it meant I could rock (heh) a blast-master rather than an autocannon.

So live autocanons to me. I like them.

Bolter, just plain bolter, you don't need anything special to be awesome when you got a bolter

Autocannon when on foot, axe when in close, whatever is on hand when I step into a vehicle.

Though those are merely preferences. Honestly, I shall remain flexible and able to adapt, depending on the task at hand.
