I forgot about this artwork. I really hope the electricity flowing upon our armor will be present. Another Night Lords helm I approve of as well. They may be large, but I like the angle, proportions and sharpness.
Maybe get a barrel a little shorter for that autocannon for easier assault/fire-and-maneuver work. Make sure it's set up for left hand feed so I can perform weapons manipulations with my non-firing hand. Function and utility first and foremost, a small symbol signifying Terran Unification participation and typical IV Legion Crusade-era marking denoting a heavy support unit. Phobos pattern bolt pistol as a backup and a bayonet for the autocannon (chainblade or power, it doesn't matter, if I've fixed a bayonet to a heavy weapon, things are totally fucked.)
I think they should have a basic magnification scope by default just like lascannon and better ones as upgrades. It's a good and versatile weapon but we'll have even better one: Reaper Autocannon.
yes in fact lasercannon are a lot "sniper rifle wannabe" but there is something in weapon that make BOOM that lazor weapon don't have. I think orkz are right.
The Reaper autocannon is a formidable weapon indeed and easily beats the regular variety. But if your a Sniper wouldn't you be better off with the aforementioned Lascannon over an Autocannon?
Definitely not in EC. From what we know heavy weapons like lascannons will be very hard to use against infantry (unless we speak of fighting against terminators): very low rate of fire, stance, possible warming up mechanics - these are rather anti vehicle weapons. Autocannons on the other hand are automatic weapons, higher RoF so you can keep your target\s under continuous fire easily + it will probably also have some pinning mechanics just like H.Bolter.
If your weapon making a lot of noise is important then you probably better suited as a heavy weapons operative or an artillery gunner opposed to a Sniper.
