You mean a different department, right? In any case that doesn't matter, is future work being done already, and that is good.
The launch will mirror Planetside 2's, in that the game will never recover from it. But even Planetside 2 is still chugging along and improving, so hopefully what we see from EC is the same. As for me, I'll do as I've always done and keep logging in after every big patch to see if it's less of a gong show in terms of mechanics/performance. It's still pretty bad, but it's getting better, so I'm hopeful for the near future.
I don't feel either of the available options describes my opinion of the game, so I'll just post it here instead. I have never been happier with this game. I have spent nearly 250 dollars of my hard earned money on it and I intend to spend much more in the future. The voices are -perfect- the graphics have gotten MUCH better, the combat has a good flow to it now and both ranged and melee are balanced and viable. Are there things that need to be fixed? Absolutely! Is the game better now than it has ever been? Absolutely! Keep up the good work, devs!
well, let's all not get too -placeholder- , after all, the devs tried hard and they are only half -placeholder-. I mean with all things taken into account one could conclude that this game right now is - placeholder- where it used to be entirely -placeholder- ! So I guess my conclusion is: - placeholder- Hope that clears things up. Laters, you bunch of -placeholder- !
I'll play it at launch...but when the good games start coming out this Winter, my activity level will take a dive. Hopefully they will fix more stuff while I'm playing other videogames. Then probably around sometime in December or January when I've already played all the good videogames, I'll come back to EC .
I think EVERYONE needs to go over to DJ Penguin's twitch channel, and LISTEN to ALL 5.5 HOURS of Nathan sitting in his apartment answering questions. pay special attention to the part where he explains: "I was brought onto this project at the beginning of 2015 to make sure there WAS a project." So yeah. At least we got a video game at all, rather than this project having been thrown in the garbage some time in 2015.
