I do have quite the soft spot for the Ultramarines though. They are the quintessential Space Marine chapter. It would be quite the toss up for me to choose between playing a Black Templar or an Ultramarine. I'm working on my own Ultramarine Chaplain armor. The problem is, I'm building a power fist instead of a crozius. =\
Greetings! It is useless and utterly pointless to drag on "who is the best Chapter".The very notion is very subjective and childish. One could make an argumet for Ultramarines,Grey Knights,Space Wolves..etc but it is a very subjective opinion.By the most general thinking...i`d probably pick Ultramarines since they had major impact on the God-Emperors realm after the Great Scouring.They have the most disciplined and orderly "empire" inside the Imperium for over ten thousand years. I`d still disband that smurf village but...oh well. Praise the Omnissiah!
I took it as a subjective thread, asking for opinions. I'm impressed that the thread hasn't turned into trolling, raging, bashing, etc... but has remained personal opinions about chapters. Quite frankly, it gives me high hopes for the game's community! Well done!
Space Wolves, because they stood up to the Inquistion. They tried to annihilate an entire hive world just cause they heard of the Grey Knight and defended Armageddon against Chaos. What did the wolves do? Chopped the head off the top Grey Knight, Inquisitor got butt hurt about it and the Wolves chopped his head off too.
