Yea, I won't play this if it's subscription.

    And i disagree with you.

I will leave it at that.
  3. I'd rather pay a sub to keep the game funded than deal with P2W micro-transactions.
  4. I tend to somewhat agree. When there is a cash shop, especially ones with xp boosts, I always have to ask myself "Is this normal progression, or did they slow it down so I would be more likely to buy a boost?" Which makes the game a bit lesser in my mind.

  5. very true....very true indeed.

It just isn't feasible for me personally. I have disposable income for games but it isn't consistent. I run low on money at certain points in the year so I don't want to deal with constant monthly fees. I'm sure it could be successful through subscription though.

a sub also a really small sub stop a lot of people from playing, the b2p it's a good idea because you pay a sum that theorically must stop the need of "p2w" item but you still have some estetic and service for payng.
People like to be free to play the game when they want and not "the month i pay the sub".

  8. Well that would all depend on the amount the subscription was wouldnt it? If it was 5$ per month that would be easily feasible. You could probably find that in your couch every month. But something like WoWs sub fees would be difficult at times I agree.
  9. Disagreeing with founding a point is just ceding and choosing to stand in ignorance. The point is that a balanced/fair game will not have P2W elements so that lazy/less dedicated people can throw money at te game to offset their personal weakness or inability to dedicate their time to the game. If your life is not organized and set up to win then you shouldn't be able to pay to win. You're either a gamer or you're not. It's your choice to live how you choose... but a game should never revolve around a certain class of people. There should always be a dividing line between those that commit time and effort and those who "choose" to spend their time in other things. As lame as it is, a guy who has no life and is logged on for 18 hours a day should theoretically be a dominating force in the game. The guy who only logs in 2 hours a night and is balancing a wife, kids, job, and other activities (This is me btw) should not be able to pay his way to keep up with the former. If I want to do that I need to adjust my life.

That too. I'm a really erratic gamer. I might leave a game for a few months then decide to play six hours at the drop of a hat. No sense in pouring money into something I'm not playing.

Yea, I'm basing that off WoW prices of $15 or so a month. I could easily set aside $60 for a whole year. It would be nice if I could pay in advance too. I'm very forgetful.
