I think your lack of vision is the problem. ORKS are free to play due to the fact that they are, in all meanings of the word "The green hoard" Making other free to play factions defeats the entire purpose of making the orks F2p

"I find your lack of vision, disturbing."

You need to read the post. I know why they are F2P. Tyryt said perhaps expand it to every faction. That's why I said, "what do you think of..."

Make it population based and monthly. If Eldar is lacking and needs a bit hand add them to F2P pool and take Orkz out. All F2P players who played Orkz ? Now they are Eldar foot soldiers ! TADAAAAA !

Edit:Might do more harm than good for old players, all these greenhorns running around and tripping over their guns.

PS2 is watered down and targets the casual gamer, that is why it is dead to me. I do not want to see what could be an epic addition to the 40k universe become some casual gamer pos.
  5. I'm still not on board with the whole buying boosters and starter gear crap. Dust sucked for that very reason. You had guys who spent real money to have par gear until they were skilled up and then were unstoppable because you had whole teams running in "black" gear that couldn't be touched by the opposing team of new players who couldn't afford to buy "par" gear and get mowed down instantly. I had to let my account sit for 2 months just to accrue skill points so I could roll adequately with my group so I wouldn't fail them because of substandard gear. P2W boosters are horsecrap and games that separate players by gear and skill points get old as well.

I don't think anyone wants that. 108 guys voted for opposite of it. Just barebones old school, business model. I am just hoping guys at behaviour can pull it off.

Don't get me wrong buddy but Why ? I mean you know the name of the game..its money. Not skill, not team work. Its money all the way,i played it for 2 hours before i realised how it worked out. Why did you do that to yourself ?

Exactly why I would rather pay a modest monthly fee and have EVERY thing in game earned in some manner.

Content pack means that. We talked about it on the first pages. Are you sure, you are not confusing cosmetic with functional items ?
  9. My first choice would have been a subscription with Ork Boyz as f2p. But that wasn't there so buy to play ork boyz f2p was next.

Now pay 2 win is a more interesting subject, and as seen in the many posts above there is a fair variation between peoples views.

Seems to sum it up very well for me. Thanks Vigil for that pic ;)

Now if xp boosts are only available in a micro-transaction shop I think that would count as p2w for me, but if that same item was also ingame for purchase from personal resources as well ( probably a considerable amount of resources , depending on the xp%/duration) then i am all for it.

I'd still rather them go about it as they are, what exactly with their plan is it you have a problem with?
