But everyone can get an Ork character slot for free, that's how F2W's are going to be able to play on their free account. Buying the Pioneer pack advances you from F2W status to premium Ork status. That's why it says One character slot for Orks only. You're buying the ork faction itself... As you can see it doesn't include the full game key. That means you don't get access to anything but orks after you buy the pioneer pack. People are confused because they think being given an ork slot means you'll still be playing as a F2W due to the lack of other faction slots being purchasable. You buy pioneer pack = You buy an ork character slot = You buy only the ork faction. Lets imagine that you buy the "Tactical pack" = You buy a space marine character slot = You buy only the space marine faction, and so on. If what you are saying is true and people are wasting 15 dollars on a second Free 2 Waagh ork character with a tiny bit of bling added to it, then they better be prepared to start handing out refunds. Seriously what would i be doing with 2 Free to Waagh ork accounts.
"one character slot for orks only" because if someone have multiple slot the pioneer slot can be utilized only for ork character. https://www.eternalcrusade.com/free-to-play the shop is clear: the pioneer is a founder option for the free to waagh players.
Doesn't sound right at all. I'll need to contact a developer to clear this up or ask for a refund. I mean they do understand that most of the orks players paying for the pioneer pack: 15 dollars, are expecting that the Ork faction be unlocked for them when the game releases... Edit: I'm confident that i'm paying to unlock the ork faction.
I think orcs should be given a transport vehicle for free players. That way they can contribute in a meaningful way even if they are really really new. Plus hordes of trucks driving at the enemy is very orky.
they have: https://www.eternalcrusade.com/free-to-play As a Free to WAAAGH! Ork, you will have the full and complete access to the core of the Ork units: Loota, Shoota and Choppa boyz. In addition you will be able to spawn and use, on a daily basis, an Ork Warbike and an Ork Trukk. The rest of the Ork progression will be unlockable through the store at your discretion. You will be able to unlock the classes and vehicles you want according to your gameplay preferences.
F2W's will be able to spawn at least one Warbike and wartrukk a day as far as we know, it may become subject to change. And basing on how rare it would be spawned, i'm guessing these would be pretty durable if kept out of the hands of a hotheaded driver.
Hmmmm so if you spawn, is there a way to despawn without losing that vehicle? Like a safe zone in a friendly base? I mean, surviving an attack or defense and depsawning in a safe area should be a reward if you want to play or are needed to play a different class.
Dunno, hell they don't even have orks modeled up and playable yet. But lets say they do. I'd imagine that you should be able to drive your vehicle to a friendly vehicle spawn/ Ork motor pit and despawn your OWN vehicle for maybe a half price refund. That way you won't have to worry about leaving your trukk out in the middle of nowhere when you're stuck attacking/defending a base across the field. Plus'dat you'll be able to respawn your trukk when you need it later.
Despawning vehicles isn't likely. Part of the risk and choice in spawning one is the possibility of a bad time do it or running into situations where it can't be used/isn't needed anymore. These vehicles aren't made of nanites either.
Well if we're rolling out of bases, why not model hangars. Drive it in an despawn to preserve the unit. It would help steer people to a more cautious play style if they know they can survive an attack or defense through their ability and log their valued unit without it counting as essentially destroyed.
