I kinda noticed that this sounded rather rough, but I wasn't insulting you, sorry if I sounded like that. I just wanted state that the two games have very little in common and are hard to compare, but was too lazy to wride my whole thoughts, sorry. Also I mixed tabletop and Space Marine videgame gameplay to figure out how weapons could work. While an Orkboy is easily onehitted on table, in the videogame it took several bolterrounds to kill one (I think even two headshots but I'm not sure) And with a Lascannon needing two bodyhits to kill a marine (and a lot more to kill a nob) I related that other snipers will have a simmilar firerate, but with equal, mostly less strenght (thus not onehitting most of the playable races/classes)
based on our lates new info we don't get true beta access, we dot run around the planet shooting up and choping people up. We get to run around or strike cruiser. Think start citizen hanger.
No worries, while they don't have a ton in common, they are both shooters, one of which has a fairly well-known very low TTK, which is why I used it as an example for such. As for the rest, you can't assume that things will be like Space Marine, just like I can't assume it will be like the TT, which is why I am asking for clarification from the devs as to where along the spectrum we currently are in terms of TTK (knowning of course it will change back and forth regularly up until launch).
To me it sounds fun! I will be Beta testing one of my Favourite games! I know but that is still awesome though!
I do not know if this was answered but you mentioned earlier an idea of a load out being assault unit as an example you said pistol and melee, is it possible to have 2 melees weapons?
