dude even if they have a million dollars it will be the same look at Death garden hahahahahahahhahahaha they were already working DEath garden and let EC die a year ago you need 2-3 years to finish a game. they use founders money to make death garden move on F BE
You guys are toxic whiney little children! I play this game for like 3-4 Hours a day, and even though matches are mostly CSM v LSM, its still fun as hell. Grow up and move on, why do you keep bashing? Oh its because youre waiting on the next update and youre gonna praise them when they come out with the next patch!
This game is fun, if we tone down our expectations. You know what else is fun? Flipping coins. But I think it's ethically wrong for us to tone down our expectations below the bar the devs have set, just so we have an excuse to ignore the lies and the empty hype. To this day, no dev has admitted in plain terms that the game is even in trouble. * EC has no marketing-budget. Nathan accidently admitted that in an off-handed remark. * EC has one programmer. ONE. We had to piece that together from rumors. * When bE removed the programmers from EC, Nathan tried to spin that as something positive: As the programmers now work on other projects for their wage, that means he can talk them into working for EC for free!!!! * I asked Jbregg and Nathan what is going on right now. Twice. Both threads got locked without comment. Do you want to know why I'm staying in the forum? I was here when this game was born and I want to be here when it dies. Because I loved it and believed in it. Look at the numbers. Numbers don't lie. The patient is dying. I made a mathematical model to calculate when EC will die (that is, too few players) and it looked like 2020. The rate of decay has accelerated in the last two months. It's not enough data to make a new model, but my new guess is late 2019/early 2020.
If you tell me there would be: - Regular Updates - Regular Bugfixes - New Content on a regular basis - Community involvement on decisions like "What to put in next?" - A liability for the dev's to fulfill all the above terms I would be okay with a subscription based pay model. Hell, even now, that's how much i like Warhammer.
