  1. I believe they didn't nerfed it, but made traveling distance same across the factions and/or weapons and also some fixed other weird behavior.

    • Travel distance for a melee weapon's forehand and backhand attacks are now far more consistent.
    • Travel distance of fast and strong attacks performed by melee weapons within the same category (swords, axes/clubs, fists/klaws, etc) no longer vary wildly.
    • Strong and fast melee attacks performed by melee weapons within the same category (swords, axes/clubs, fists/klaws, etc) no longer link to the next queued attack with wildly varying timings.

I am specifically talking about a manual swap no auto swapping what's so ever , needs to be an actual key press.
else its like you sad more of a buff .

the idear here is to delay the bolter after Dbash enough to basically force ppl to go pistol with a manual weapon swap.

That would make matters more complicated, not easier...:)

  4. Lunge attack distance was nerfed last year. That was a bad change. Recently all strong attack distances for weapons of the same time were finally "normalized" from faction to faction. LSM, CSM and Ork strong attack ranges were brought UP to par with Eldar strong attack range. This is a good thing.

The actually lunge mechanic(sprint + fast attack) is now broken because we only actually lunge attack in a match about 1/10 attempts. The rest of the time instead of executing the lunge attack we sprint, tap RMB, then we stop in place, wind up a long drawn out hay maker and die where we stand because we get shot down.

The evade attack was broken around the same time frame. We used to reliably roll and instantly attack 100% of the time. Now we roll, stand up, wind up a hay maker, and get shot dead because that shit takes entirely too long.

I don't like stuns in general. Especially when there's nothing you can do to break it.

would be nicer if the clash system either reduced damage or had its own damage values on clash and they removed dura but I'm new here, It's not likely i've considered everything.

The damage from a defensive bash, the usual source of stuns in melee, is absolutely negligible. The kick hardly does anything.

Ailmets add additional damage, yes... but it's still not enough to kill in one stun. The entire community would know about it if players were dying in a single melee stun from melee weapons.

Didn't even remotely imply that, I said that you, while stunned, aren't at full health and armor, you get stunned and get damaged, then, with that damage from stun (and maybe previous exchange of bullets or clangs), in my experience, next melee attack will going to kill you, unless he decides to not strong attack.

You don't start magically stunned with full healt and armor, dunno if you can get stunned without getting any damage at all.

They do if you throw both at the same time. If you wait and "hmmm he is prepping a strong attack I should fast attack" you clang. RPS works on the assumption you both throw at the same time, not "Oh hes playing rock better play paper" That you threw NOTHING until he charged and released his strong attack and can clang it is another advantage to the spam RMB like a muppet play of melee. He threw heavy, you waited and threw nothing, you lose the exchange.

Asuming no lag problems or latency, because those happen, a lot.
There's also the fact that, and I hope I'm mistaken, Eldar seem to DBash faster than other races so they can DBash you before you strong attack even though you both did it at the same time. At first I thought it was latency problems, but heard it from people on youtube (Sir Phobos and his pals).
