What i hoped PvE would be like

  1. M-state Alchemist M-state Steam Early Access

To be honest I found Overwatch to be a TF2 clone touched up by blizzard. Had very low replay value to it. However the ME3 mp was awesome and the space marine PvE wasn't bad. I can agree that the PvE in EC could do with more attention but I don't think it'll get any for a while.

  2. THQ's Exterminatus mode has endless replay'ability. I can't explain why or how, it's just so damned fun. I played that mode daily with friends for 3 or 4 years then eventually it tapered off to 2 or 3 times weekly and then only on weekends. It would be great if BHVR could do a study of that game and game mode and implement similar maps and mechanics.

Using existing content, I imagine using Fortress maps in EC for a multi phase PVE experience. Starting in the ruins a 4 to 5 man team has to fight our way through waves of Nids into the destroyed/overrun Fort to rescue a disabled Dreadnaught. Once located(the Dread being hidden in 1 of 10 possible random locations) then we heal/repair/whatever the Dreadnaught. Then we escort the Dread and fight our way though the Nids back out to the ruins where a Thunderchicken extracts the team and Dread. Epic!

  3. Truth. I'd almost rather there be escalating Warrior difficulties on each wave. As it stands you either have a guy dedicated to Warrior takedown and he's useless the other waves, or you run up to 9 and congratulate everybody on a great 9k Req run. Lol.
  4. You hear that?
    That sound of awesome?
Man, just imagine it, looking for a Dreadnought on Harkus, somewhere in the sewers or something like that.

You could also say "Hold the line till evac arrives" to get evacuated by Thunderchicken, Warportal or something similar
  5. * Go watch "Starship Troopers: Invasion." Specifically the beginning: the extraction/rescue mission at Fort Casey. Insertion, beachhead clearance, escort, transport blown, secondary evac, rushing to said evac, and escape. Amazing Lair.

    * Go play any of the mid-game missions on Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2. Don't hit the wrong terminal(car)...

That's the kind of stuff I want to see.

  6. This! Exterminatus mode with the Nids is what I've wanted from the start, that mode was such a blast to play in Space Marine. Add some random generation to the objectives and wave spawns and I'll play it for as long as the servers let me.
