While I love Tau I don't think they'd be great since weapon wise they are even more restrictive than Eldar.
I know, and I'm not saying that we should include the Necrons over the Tau if more people want the Tau in, but still...
I feel you man. I really hope it will be Necrons. And interestingly, in polls with less options, Necrons and Tau are neck and neck. I hope that when the founders get to vote, there will be a run-off ballot between the 2 most popular choices (ie between Necrons and Tau).
nah. the bonding knives aren't meant for jabbing and slashing, but more ornamental. when it comes to close combat tau whack with their rifle butt and kick with hooves. if you are a o'shova fan, you fire your weapon point blank... which could be really cool in game.
Seems a bit near sighted, Eldar have more classes because they don't have classes that can equip a lot of different weapons to fit a role like SM do. Tau are very much the same.
For those saying the Necron are too slow to be a decent PC race... keep in mind that all the races will have the same walk/run speeds IIRC from what the Devs have mentioned, I for one have no trouble with a Necron breaking into a run...commen sense would dictate that there would occasionaly be a purpose in such a pace and I see no design flaws in their anatomy that would make it impossible, perhaps in fluff so far there has simply been no reason for one to do so
So what if you make a poll after this one about the 2 races choosed by majority, and then we choose the 1 of those 2
