Awesome idea in my opinion. Eagerly but patiently awaiting the day it gets to that scope. I firmly believe it will get there.
240 vs 240 seems like a very large endevour, one that I would proudly be apart of. This, of course, would at most be 32v32 at launch and anything larger would most likely take place 1-3 years from now when EC has the technology and time to establish such a large fight. I would be willing to wait until then.

Only reason SS has died out in PS2 is because a) the drama and b) people just not caring. If we get this going earlier in EC's lifespan, it could be what SS was supposed to be for PS2. We got DBG's attention too late, tbh, in PS2's cycle. Comm Clash at outposts and SS for the (eventual) outposts + fortress combination.
Do you have a crew for EC already? I'd love to commentate some matches if you're in need of a guest/co caster.
Depending on how it's done ... I mean, SS for a lot of people these days isn't fun. It's just repeated max crash and airhammer spam on bases until you kill everyone at the base, redeploy to save base across the map with more maxes, rinse and repeat.

I agree that SS has plateaued a bit, but I'm already working on outside partnerships to mitigate this. However, the whole max crash and airhammer spam is up to the force commanders and how they want to deal with the opposing force. There isn't anything I can do, except ban airhammers, which would not be the best way to go in my opinion.

@Noromiz I changed the poll settings so that you can change your vote. But that is correct, I put "future is clouded and uncertain" as a no, because putting five yes's and a no could get me accused of bias (based on previous experience). Thanks for the Philos recommendation. @Philos, I summon you!
