I dunno guys, proclaiming your love for Chaos upon a mountain of corpses and a line of sacrifices running up it sounds fun.
-centurions and other forms of baby carriages -plasma weapons with low damge per shot and no proper overheating - shot-meltas - rapid fire lascannons instead of single shot hi power with super long reload - bolters that do BB gun damage and sound like that (i know it will probably be like that for balance reasons but one can dream) -marine storm talons -fast firing plasma cannons - comic style graphics or less realistic approaches to the game - my little pony/ anime/ cartoons
I can't think of any class, army, or vehicle that shouldn't be in EC. I even have no problems with random effects. This is something I never want to see in any online game.
I still don't get all of the Grey Knights shouldn't be in EC arguments. Any time a large force of chaos gathers the grey knights show up to fight it. The fact that one of the confirmed armies for EC is Chaos Space Marines there is no reason for the Grey Knights not to show up at some point. The Grey knight were formed to fight all the forces of chaos, not just demons. More to the point they were formed to fight the Traitor legions. Also the fact that traitor marines even exist is as much a secret as the Grey Knights. As for "balance" issues, that isn't too hard to do considering it has all ready been stated that the avrage space marine would be able to take on 3-4 ork boys and win. Meaning that the game is not going to have a 1v1 balance.
That's not the problem. The problem is that everyone and their sister will flock to the Knights for them being OP as fuck. OP factions cannot be put in the game as they'll simply attract the noobs who get sick and tired of being killed by equally powerful/slightly weaker factions that with proper skill, can overcome the enemy. 3:1 ratio of Grey Knights to the other factions would kill the game. And no, Grey Knights never show up whenever Chaos Space Marines attack. The Knights are made to fight Daemons, not Chaos Space Marines, and only engage in wars that threaten the stability of the entire galaxy.
