A map lattice system like in planetside 1 ( not 2 ) would bring so much more meaning to fighting as a faction You'd fight for actual territory and not a match win. The system we have currently is about 1/4th or so of such a system. they should focus on expanding the maps than create a lattice interface and set up the systems needed for the servers to open and close maps via the progress a faction makes on the lattice. maps would be actual locations on the lattice, they become territory to fight over instead of just matches. for those unfamiliar with ps1's lattice system its all explained here. http://spawntube.blogspot.nl/2017/02/ps2-origins-lattice-system.html This system is much simpler than a open world system people always ask for and I believe well within the capabilities of the current team to create given they have the time and resources which as always will be the major issue here. They could even tie in a new resource system linked to territory control that ticks over time and allows you to pull hero classes and vets etc. Game modes such as KoTH or Capture the Flag like objectives could also be part of the lattice.
