Well they did say that some races would have them as standard classes that you could play persistently "much like other races have tactical marines, where you swap out spells for weapons" which I'd assume they may mean thousand sons. If I also interpreted Miguel properly, things like blood crushers and other "god specific" goodies would be available slightly earlier for those whom pre ordered as founders. (I was the other spammer whom picked up about any chaos question and spammed the crap out of it) but it's looking good. Only thing I worry is they said that sorcerers may fill a support role, which is a bit iffy on my end, but they did say that the loadout would drastically cause differences in the playstyle, and judging from past Q&A's like one I posted earlier, it seems like we'll have a choice in the matter. It's looking good, and those of us in the Thousand Sons legion will possibly have quite a bit of fun on our hands with the sorcerer implementation

So ive rewatched the AMA again.

Michael Chan (i think i got the name right) said that:
"Some races will have classes that will be heroes, some will not. They might be regular classes you can use all the time or they might be hero classes"

Now in my eyes this can be interpreted in a good an a bad way:

    Bad:
The only current race announced ingame to dominate of the psyker field is the Eldar. If i recall correctly even their normal citizens are to an extent psykers. This will lead to the only race not having pyskers as a hero class being the Eldar (Farseers, Warlocks etc) due to just how normal it is amongst them.

    Good:
Chaos as well as Eldar have pyskers as something they dont find odd in their faction. In both factions they are represented and accepted so having a sorceror as a regular class wouldnt be so bad from that perspective.
Space Marines on the other hand arent too keen on pyskers and find them a liability, rarely trusting any psyker who hasnt really proven themselves to have a control over his powers and hill will not to be tempted by the ruinous powers. Thus this could copy well into why SM for instance would be more prone to having the Libarians as a hero class, since those that exist proven their strenght and loyalty to the throne on Terra (ergo heroes to an extent).
Orks just have them, and Wierdboys are far from being something everyones lining up to play when it comes to Orks in Eternal Crusade (or that would be my opinion based on what ive seen on the forums and random banter on many forums before the game even showed up on the internet).

Ofc it might sound lame of me to pull our loyalist brothers dreams about being a psyker down, but im just making sense out of the situation. And im sure they can duke it out for their own rights as well if they are really invested in the idea as much as we are.

Well to be fair, there are far more sorcerers than there are chaplains, if you include those still proving themselves, because as you said they're more hesitant with psykers. Loyalists are far more focused on "hero aspects" in their organization, whereas in chaos people mete out their standards by power, and they've had 10,000 years to do it.

To go even further there are far more people who can conjure dark arts of warpmagic (to whatever extent) then there are functioning suits of terminator armor.
Yet termies seem to be a class not so much is being argued about.

There are lesser sorcerers and greater sorcerers how about showing this by not only unlocking armour and weapons when "lvling" or should i say progresing in the game but unlocking spells too.

The most mighty sorcerers are by lore insanly dangerous but lesser sorcerers dangerous as they might be but should be no greater problem to slay in battle.

IMO what i want is this arrogant feeling of raw uncontrolled power as an sorcerer. I want to feel the power of the warp building up and tearing me apart if so by my hybris or lack of skill or if im im really skilled unleash warpish hell upon my foes who turn them to ashes!

Id go a different route when it comes to differentiating lesser from greater sorcs (the latter being a hero class you will need to pay resources to play with).

Limiting spells in between the two would be offputting imo.
Instead the greater sorcs would have the following advantages over the lesser ones:
    -lower cooldowns on spells
-their spells do increased dmg/have longer durations
-they themselves are more resiliant health wise
-the perils of the warp (which from my viewpoint would be a certain amount of direct dmg or a prolonged cooldown upon interrupts) would be non existent for this hero class due to them mastering the warp powers
-more spells avaliable to carry on yourself on loadout, like 2-3 more

Combos were already mentioned in this AMA (when Miguel Carron complained how his combos were constantly getting interrupted) so they should just squeeze that in as one of the things that seperates a person of immense power with full knowledge of his arts (greater sorc, aka the hero class) from the powerful man who is still mastering the control over his god given gifts (lesser sorc, aka the regular class i hope we will be able to permamently play as).

Well my thoughts on this matter is i think they should Add Sorcerers as a Option However The Game Mechainces would Have to Tweaked abit to Support this However I think its Doable If they limit how Much power you can use at a Time and Add Staffs as Somewhat a Ranged weapon and Melee weapon With the use of a Side arm I could see this Happening .

I'd imagine Psychics will not be as powerful as people would expect them to be, otherwise we'd have another unbalanced game :/

Instead I imagine they will have abilities depending on what faction they are, such as Chaos Sorcerers will give damage bonuses to allies or weaken enemy stats, Warlocks give shield bonuses, Librarians give healing, and Orks will do something a kin to using Sheogorath's staff the Wabbajack :p
