yes regicide, for now is still on the full board but in future the regicide mode will have different unit composition etc etc in particular during the campaign. in regicide mode unit have different stat and skills, also marine and ork aren't simmetrical but have different stat for accuracy HP, armor, damage, damage in short range etc etc.
Still, i was hoping for something along the lines of a Chaos Gate gamemode. The way im understanding even these campaigns will still be going from one chessboard to another.
yes the base rule of chess still apply, it's not a game like Xcom, deathwatch for mobile is more similar to a chaos gate like game. (warhammer quest was ported for pc so probally also deathwatch will eventually come to pc).
Called it, Raven Guard with wrong shoulder trim colors, unless GW retconned that part, which I'm guessing is what happened with FrankM's post above. Also, they picked Snakebites which lost the vote, could this be a hint that Regicide is trying to grab the disappointed voters who won't see their favored sub-factions?
