    I've been a WH40k fan for 16 years.

I am extremely familiar with Warhammer 40k.

    Sigh... here we go.

I should have been more blunt, forgive me. When I said educate, I meant this. This whole, "no srsly guiz it's not a fetish" thing. Out of morbid curiousity I looked at that link. Ctrl + F "sexual" = 25 results. Skimming through it, some tidbits.

"In a different online survey, 33% of furry respondents answered that they have a "significant sexual interest in furry", another 46% stated they have a "minor sexual interest in furry"

According to this study, 80% of the furry community does it for fetish reasons.

"Another survey found that 96.3% of male furry respondents reported viewing furry pornography"

If it's not a fetish, why do over 96% of people look at the porn for it? I don't want to know about anyone's fetishes. I don't care.

Keep your fetish, and your porn out of my video games.

A blind man can sit in front of a tank filled with water for a century and never know there's a fish in the tank

if you've been in contact with the 40k universe for years and you still have to ask how it's different to the furry you're either blind or not willing to see

I'm sure people in other fetishistic communities do other things too. I hang with people from my local gaming store and do other shit with them like play video games etc. People naturally form connections with those around them. Just because you met a group with a sexual purpose, and do things that are non-sexual, doesn't make the original reason you all met or talk non-sexual.

Finally, you also haven't responded to the statistics on the page that you link me. How can you say a group that reports 80% of the reason for being a part of it "Because of sexual aspects" not a fetish?

Here's how I fit my personal planet of furries into the existing lore.

They came into contact with the Imperium.

And then fled for their lives from the intolerant Imperium that tried to exterminate them.

They eventually resettled deep in Ork-controlled territory, and have had to fend off constant Ork attacks.

It works well with my opponents in the TTG primarily playing Orks.

    Also, this?

Is not a furry Sister of Battle.

It is my character, wearing armor styled like a Sister of Battle because during those xenocidal wars, she was like, "Wow, that armor looks cool, I'ma get some like that!"

And then of course I use the Sisters of Battle rules and models because I can't invent my own Codex, and I like the models and faction, so it's non-canon.

    The actual quote:

"Sexual attraction to furry characters is a polarizing issue met with vehement opposition within the fandom; in one survey with 4300 furry respondents, 37% answered that sexual attraction is important in their furry activities, 38% were ambivalent, and 24% answered that it has little or nothing to do with their furry activities."

13 of the 25 instances of the word "sexual" are from the following paragraph:

Homosexuality and bisexuality are overrepresented in the furry fandom,[13] by about a factor of 10 compared to the United States average self-identified rates of 1.8% bisexuality and 1.7% homosexuality.[37] According to four different surveys, 14–25% of the fandom members report homosexuality, 37–52% bisexuality, 28–51% heterosexuality, and 3–8% other forms of alternative sexual relationships.[10][12][38][39] Approximately half of the respondents reported being in a relationship, of which 76% were in a relationship with another member of furry fandom.[10] Examples of sexual aspects within furry fandom include erotic art and furry-themed cybersex.[40][41]The term "yiff" is sometimes used to indicate sexual activity or sexual material within the fandom—this applies to sexual activity and interaction within the subculture whether in the form of cybersex or offline.[42][43]"
