It seems like it does and it has the huge lung also. The backup and shoot trick doesn't work with it.

Yeah a fist can spam attacks and stay on a target. Do that on a klaw and its an auto loss.

The power fist still has a lunge and a dash on its light and heavy attacks, and Power Fist Heavy Attack charge time has ALWAYS been faster than the power klaw. The only advantage to warrant that was the lunge distance on the Klaw. Now that it's been rendered obsolete, the Power Fist is literally better or equal in every single category and costs the same.

I suggest everyone take a look at the world map. We're losing across the board. I can only imagine what our win percentage is right now.

We were left without a functioning powerweapon while everyone else runs around with powerswords. I don't mind the axe-speed nerf, I am still topping the charts, but our toughness gets pretty much reduced to nothing by the unending stream of plasma and powerweapons while we simply have no equivalent to compete with.

Our only remaining advantage would be poisongrenades (bad/mediocre against the sorc/GA combo of the Eldar and Chaos) and the Ace Dakka, neither of which are particularly accessible for newbies on our faction.

That doesn't even mention our inability to answer the melta spam, rokkits simply don't cut it with all their limitations.

The power fist strong attack had it's attack range reduced significantly with this patch. Seems to be about half the range that it was before. Not going to hit anything but a stationary target with it at this point. Seems fine though - primary use was to gank braced heavies and vehicles anyway. The glide attack from a jump also doesn't go as far but that's easy enough to adjust to. I don't have a claw for my ork yet but i'll snag one tonight for comparisons sake. It sounds to me like they are pretty close to identical now.

Also - think through the RPS with a power fist. Default should be fast attack. They fast attack - you win. They strong attack - you win. You just need to watch out for kicks. It's more a game of chicken than RPS since your fast attack hits are about the same as a frontal strong attack from other weapons. I haven't run into many instances of attacks going through mine with power attacks and my dbashes rarely miss so I could see it being more troublesome if you run into that a lot. I always regret taking a sword as well when I come across a vehicle. Punching them to death is so satisfying.
  7. I can clearly see the reason why we are losing ground.

We lack effective AV options while our enemies have Melta guns. On those maps where vehicles support matters we are screwed.

Waaagh! makes us lose fortress battles when we defend. In those scenarios where every ticket matters being unable to revive is not a special power: it's a huge penalty.

Melee is bugged, we often cannot interrupt the sword spam and our enemies know it perfectly. In fact it's all about melee sword spam.

And then there is plasma spam. That weapon causes massive imbalance and frustration.

Don't forget that if a bee so much as farts on our back we are down for the count now!

All of these problems existed before the patch, and we were kicking ass then, so no, none of those things are relevant.

What I was trying to allude to in the original post, without being a dick, was that we had a huge influx of new players on patch day. The nerfs haven't killed us, the same problems we've had since day one haven't killed us. We have other effective melee weapons and only getting hit from the rear hurts more.

Players who don't understand how the match timer works, who don't listen to calls, who create their own squads so that they can have their own personal trukk, who attack points that have been capped already when time is needed...

That's why we're losing so much. We need to stop looking elsewhere for something to blame. That's what children do. We're the newb faction now. We're LSM now.

This is exactly how I feel. Our nerfs in the melee department are one thing, but they aren't, at least in my eyes, an ultimate gamechanger. If all it took for people to give up was a nerf in the electrified choppa, then I guess we weren't all that superior to begin with. Most of the complaints are the same we had before. My lost games this morning have ALL been because some people don't understand the basic principles of the games, particularly timers and cap priorities, and play with a Call of Duty mentality.

Abandoned trukks, wasted ordnances, people not knowing when to give up an unnecessary point that is meant as a distraction to get a time bonus elsewhere... Tunnel vision is our biggest problem.

Just a minute ago, I played against a group of CSM PUGs. ALL of them were hugging the last point we needed, in a tight line, knowing what to do... that was all that was needed for them to win. There is an attitude in many players that they have nothing to learn here, and that's hardly the case.
