Were Sorc/Warlock nerfs on UAT really that surprising?

Secondary targets get allot less poison.
  2. Im talking about straight up healing I hate support characters that sacrifice raw support for being allowed to deal damage. I also play space wolf so I dont have access to the bolter anyway. I would rather heal from safety than waste time in a fight.

It's a trade off though, sure distance healing keeps YOU safer but it's slow. Apoth heals are much faster and it's pretty valid to run around using your Narth to pick up allies, because it's faster than the ranged heals and picks them up with full HP unlike ranged heals. As a warlock your far better off trying to down the last enemies before picking up who survived. (unless you have numbers than sure rez em up as your allies mop up the remainder)

So for RAW healing power nothing tops the Apoth, but safety healing is easier on the Warlock/Sorc.

Also I gotta say I get pissed off when playing a DA and I got some melee guy on me and the warlock is trying to heal me. The heal isnt strong enough to keep me alive, he'd be better served killing the guy attacking me than either topping me off or picking me up if i went down

  4. When Playing Apothecary, i fell in love with the first Healing Grenade, the one that doesn't last long but recharges superfast and gives a HoT Buff. You really can see this as a valid distance-heal. I still don't know why people take the much more expensive, long lasting, but cooldown forever medicae-beacon things xD

The HoT is too short at times and if not applied immediately when downed it doesn't reliably revive.
Beacon is overall less worries in my opinion. Finally got around to playing apocs as of late and I can kinda understand why people say they are OP now.

  6. I have to disagree im afraid... I throw the medicae grenade often enough towards downed teammembers, and they get up if not full to at least 90% of their health. More then enough until i reach them and stab them with a vial.

The thing i am wondering for a long time now, is the big vial worth the 100LP you spend for the longer duration? The Heal from it is quite slow, it's cool to stab your allies in advance, but on the other hand the buff-vials would be much cheaper and also have neat effects... Any Apo dare to enlighten me?

It's 100% main target, 50% aoe for SoC. I agree on the plasma pistol for offensive damaging spells but that sweet 70-80 debuff xp is tasty for the damage amp spell.

Almost nobody takes the big vial; most Apocs I talked to agree that the defense buff vial is the go-to choice.
  9. I got it, but for quite selfish purposes i admit. When your healed ally get shot, and heals, you get XP. And as i have yet to get to level 6 on my LSM, extra XP doesn't hurt i guess... ^^"

But jeah, i thought so. Adrenaline vial is so situational, if you are not running in a guild, you never get all it's worth out of it

Even if you get to R6, extra score points also means extra Requisitions, so there is always use!
What if the guy you healed doesn't get shot at though?
