Don't forget how Eldar are suppose to be faster and more agile yet Cry Marines have: A: A jetpack. B: Fast Attacks that can easily catch up and stop people from sprinting. C: Faster melee in general. D: Contrary to lore, have more I-Frames And controversially, E: Faster D-Bash recovery.
Yeah I have a SM that I just troll around with. I literally just dick around with people. At one point I took the basic preset JPA and just sat in the open. 5 DA tried to shoot me. Know what happened? 3 marines showed up and without ever moving all the DA died and I was left at 40 to 50% hp left. I laughed at how absurdly durable the PRESET was compared to these guys. I mean two of em were using controlled TLASC fire and they still couldnt down me with me not bothering to move. At one point I just D bashed a heavy to death as a shieldbro. I just circle straffed him and any time he tried to shoot I just kicked him in the face. Took no damage from the guy.
The problem is our classes are plainly unfinished with zero access to war gear and thus limited configurations so you are stuck approaching every engagement the same. Making for very boring and easily countered game play hence no population imo

It does not exist to determine which faction should have the most invincibility frames. E. Will have to upload this and point C together because as of the last patch, all D bash recovery windows are practically identical. I would love for you to record a video of something like this. Show the rest how to play properly. This links back to my prior point that the skill level of some factions has dropped as a result of more 'pubs'. Again. Exaggeration and schadenfreude is seriously detrimental to being able to balance a game. Don't spread misinformation.
This is true, melee after Dbash kick is instant, like all other races. But if you go to shoot after Dbash, You have to wait until the animation completes and you character returns to idle. THEN you may shoot. EDIT: About Hawks, they are the fastest class in game. But they aren't very manoeuvrable. A JPA is far more erratic. In regards to melee. A Striking Scorpion and Warlock cover less ground than a Space Marine with a swing. I-frames is still a point though. We have the least out of all the races in-game right now. Making our rolls useless, and usually a free hit for the enemy.
Typing on a phone so formatting may be off but regardless. JPA boosted fast attack? You mean the same thing all units have? Even dire avengers can sprint and then hit RMB to shoulder bash which counts as a boosted fast attack. Or are you talking about the distance you travel just spamming RMB? If that's the one, please do remove it. I play solely tac classes ( tac, avenger, shoots.) and that shit is annoying as hell. No weapon breaks RPS now, as long as you perform the correct counter, it works fine. Tested this as an Ork last night. Same goes for power fist and klaw, they may have subtle differences but they no longer break RPS. And by the way, do not assume bugs to be intended balance decisions. Grav gun kills faster than fire dragon? Outright lie. Will also include this in a video. D bash range I'm not 100% on but I'm pretty certain all races have the same range on D bash, the issue is timing because d bash does not counter d bash, if someone gets off a successful bash and you do anything other than dodge or hit them with a power attack, they will stun you. Not really a balance issue as much as it is a melee issue, as laughable as the idea of skill in melee in EC sounds. Another lie at worst and a bug at best. I've seen vehicles die because they get shot or drive off the map but randomly blowing up is not a thing in EC. Asymmetric balance means some classes are better than others in certain areas, ex. The apothecary is good for a heal made when pushing through a door but sucks at longer range heals without his nades while a warlock can heal at longer ranges and around objects. The apothecary heal nade is already extremely obvious. Again though, bugs are not balance decisions. They need to be fixed but you don't need other factions due to a bug. In regards to the second part though, this is an asymmetrically balances game, eldar have less toughness for higher mobility while Orks have much higher toughness at the cost of ranged accuracy, supposedly at least. Again, there are legitimate balance issues with this game but one of the biggest issues is community liars and the spread of misinformation. If you aren't sure of something, the garrison is about 5 mins away. Go and test it before you spout shit, or at the very least acknowledge that you aren't sure.
Same with all races for that d bash recovery time AFAIK. Will have to test tonight. Hawks and JPA are mobile I'm different ways, while a hawk can avoid danger and get to vantage points, a JPA can dodge weapons fire at close range. However, a hawk has far greater strategic mobility while a JPA has better tactical mobility. The whole covering more distance while swinging than if you sprint is fucking retarded to be honest. Shouldn't be possible as any faction. Not a fan of I Frames. They let people recover from mistakes by dodge spamming. Shouldn't be in the game. It goes against the whole skill required to aim.
I played a few games when the content update hit but the lag was horrific. I'm waiting for the campaign now same as I was before. People always bring up the OP phase but never mention the hell that was playing Eldar before that, we had full teams then & we'll have full teams again but for me personally the reasons not to play outweigh the reasons to play atm. Balance swings in roundabouts its not a factor for me.
Look. I woke up and I expected something worse, turns out it just has been derailed a bit. I was referring to actual general skill and class-selecting, look at this. See this Andaria person, the #1 player in our team? That person was a FIRE DRAGON. We won in Maggon without even letting the marines get a point thanks TO HER. Because she actually went out from the point and wrecked their rhinos, which made them way less capable of coming in. THIS is what I was talking about. We need more people like her. People who supports, supporting as in making us win much more easier, not supporting as in healing us so we can get more kills (though I'm not saying we shouldn't get healers). It's thanks to a SINGLE PERSON that picked fire dragon that we won. Now, imagine if there were more people like Andaria. I bet that map would look much more different. See what I mean now? Oh and also Thraxus, take your salt to another thread. I don't care that you got beaten up by Eldar so bad that now your only way of expressing that you actually lost against them is saying that they're a free win faction. Learn to lose.
