If you can't manage that then you're both using your weapons wrong OR you were facing a highly skilled Veteran player. Or both. I played for a night as a Tactical Marine and used the bolter as it is supposed to be used and not the spray-and-pray of most players. Guess what? 23 kills, nearly top of the board. Use your weapons correctly and you'll cut us down like wheat before a scythe. So, I hate to be on the "git gud" bandwagon, but git gud.
That moment a melee SM runs away when you Dbash them twice. They must learn to live with the shame of that moment for the rest of their no doubt short lives.
Seriously though. How often do you find if you manage to Dbash thair RMB spam a couple of times, they fly off because your not worth the effort? Unless it's a fist marine and you get a broken weapon on the first Dbash which seems a bit of an oversight as far as I'm concerned. Sure, It's a fist. But it breaks almost anything on the Dbash. I don't believe the Klaw does, though given the Klaws already slow, as is our Dbash animation your likely to die from the three hits they've gone in while you were -trying- to dbash with it.
Maybe we can turn all dat salt into our new AV continuous damage weapon. A giant salt blaster that does continuous damage by sand blasting tuem and corroding their vehicles while fired at insanely high pressure as to slow anything that walks towards us and staggers enemies running away from us!
Funny when you hear a CSM like. "When will we get Noise Marines?!" Bad news there bro. 'Noise Marines' are already in game, take a look at your loyalist brethren. Their whinings more potent than even a Blastmaster.
Well I'm apparently not as good as you with a bolter so whatever, but I can tell you I aim. It's too important not too, especially since friendly fire is a thing. You're making it sound like though this thing should have been easy, which I agree it should have. The bolter does enough damage and is accurate enough that the Ork shouldn't have had time to get through the shield with just knuckles. But if it was in fact this easy, than even someone with meager skills like me would have dropped the Ork. I'd love to use the bolter more, but until it gets the ridiculously tight spread the shoota gets when ADS, I won't bother using it on Orks. No thank you.
