There are so many different factors to take into account, it would be foolish to base the balancing on those map conquests alone.
Well, if a nerf would occur, it would be based upon the stats which resulted in the success of those conquests. So you could say the nerf was technically based upon those conquests. semantics
Feels like they did something tonight actually. Something seemed broken. maybe it was just an inability to configure AWS gateways correctly though.
That would be new though, they haven't nerfed CSM or LSM when they dominated the maps. I think it's just a fluke right now. Perhaps DLB has been incredibly active as of late. We're already the worst faction, with the Eldar not too far off, and neither needs another nerf. They need to be expanded and buffed to be on the same level as the LSM and CSM.
Nothing will ever be on the same level of LSM. Take pride in your choice of faction and seek solace in that LSM have the tools but not the brains.
truthfully, we (DLB) HAVE been pretty active, pluss the fact that comparatively speaking, we had far, FAR fewer new Christmas sale noobs playing orks then most of the other races, i guess alot of newbies dont want to be in the race that is usually considered "fodder" in the black library books/games. because of that, lsm has been bogged down with teams halveway filled with lvl 1 spring chickens, while facing full ork teams of lvl 6 veterans with mabe one or two lvl 1's sprinkled in. its a simple matter of experience with the game, our standard ork boy has the experience and equipment of lsm's champions right now, simply because we dont get much new blood. pluss the fact that most orks have been around since the time when we were absolutely useless as a faction, and thus became paranoid, cagey bastards with absolutely zero sense of self preservation in regards to achieving objectives.
