A23 "Handle what ever comes at us. The arbites of this world also say someone is hiding a Cache of something here. Think we need to earn the trust of the pitfighters before we can find it though." OOC mission was orignally find a cache of stuff here but we are only gonna have enough time to fight a round here
Right O. With Fox58 -walking up to the pit fighter coordinator and swinging his hammer casually- Oi, you...set me up for a scrap here...Looking to earn a bit of creds to impress the lady ya know. Between you and me...I hear the Arbites back there are on to your activities here...maybe you should get them to bugger off this precinct for a bit eh? Stir up a little trouble at that bar over there to distract em. And now...where's my first customer. We should get this done quickly before things get hectic...I wager double or nothing that I knock them out in the first thirty seconds eh?
''A team fight, eh? Okay, I can swing that. Head to pit 73, your opponents will be awaiting you. OOC: the objective was to investigate some crooks working out of the pit. Fox was to find a way to be noticed by the, pit fighting being a suitable one. By gaining the respect of the pit crowd, it's more likely these crooks will make an invitation to join them in their nefarious activities. You might want to avoid the Arbites officers when Fox goes to give them his findings, though. As said, there's time for one fight pre-mission, and the task can be picked back up later on. ''Ya coward, not eatin it 'ead first,'' the boss said, firing a warning shot at the Ork's feet.
-Taking the information from the handler- Right O. -begins walking away whistling cheerfully until he arrives at the pits entrance. Brushing past the door guards after confirming he was the challenger, Harker removes his top vest as per pit rules and readies his fists.- (I assume the pit fight is hands only and with only your garments, no armour for starting matches) -Entering the arena, he sizes up his opponent and readies himself for the coming fight-
A22 Well, I could always knock? Razauil smiled as he approached the door. There could be numerous of things waiting for him on the other side and some impatient ones might have rushed in. But this Dark Eldar had all the patience in the world. Slowly, he checked the door for any booby traps and once his (limited) knowledge was satisfied, he attempted to open the door, ready to jump on anything that's on the other side, before it jumps on him. OOC 1 quick question - is multikey one-time item and needs to be replenished or I got it permanently?
"Not gud enough for ya? 'Ow many squigs am I supposed ta eat before you realize ya've lost? Gimme anuva den." But his stomach groaned slightly as one squig was a meal, 2 were a feast, three might be pushing it. Even so he took the squig by the tail and, like the first, dropped it down into his mouth. Unfortunately its jaws opened that very moment and it got stuck in his throat, thrashing about and scratching his throat bloody. But a well timed shove from his hand on the squig forced it down. OOC: feel free to retcon should you wish for another outcome.
A21 Ooc: i just asumed we went for the brocker, we just wantet to see if you would throw any mad junkies at us becouse we stole their dealer Ic: they went for the info brocker to cash in the reward.
& A23 The men stepped inside, and a pair of warriors awaited them. One with a greatsword, and another using a mace and shield. The door latch creaked open and the door came free of its binding. Opening the door Razauil slowly stepped in, checking both in front and behind as he moved. Inside he found himself in a store room of some kind. OOC: Single use items say so A19 ''Grrr. Dese boyz is cheatin' somehow,'' the boss said, his nose bloodied from his own mishap. ''Uh, boss, dey beat youz,'' one Ork boy said. The boss turned his aim, and sprayed the boy full of bullets. The boy fell to his back, dead from his wounds. ''I'm da boss of these 'ere parts, nobody wins unless I say they wins. And these grots didn't wins,'' he said. OOC: Feel free to strike at him, or try to talk him down. That's for you two to pick. Task A21 complete. +100 exp and 250 credits to Grall and Midas. Since neither took the knife, it was sold, so +280 each added to the char sheers.
A22 OOC The Dark Eldar, seeing that there are no enemies around him, relaxed, but only a bit. He had trust in his ability to go unnoticed and so far, it had worked for him. The path he took was obviously some remnant of the past, which didn't fit into the new building's schematics and whoever sealed that iron door tight reasoned that there was no danger coming from there. That's why there were no permanent guard position watching over it. All of this worked in Razauil's favor. This storage room consisted of many crates and items, none of which concerned him the slightest. Checking through it all would only take time, time which he didn't have. Nonetheless, he was sure nobody knew he was inside. Not yet anyway, and that could change in an instant if he wasn't careful enough. No matter. I've come this far, I won't stop now, he thought as he moved like a snake through the shadows, searching for a way out of this room. He reasoned that he was located in the main building, and that rich guy is somewhere close...
