A18 "I like Ripper guns. The sound they make is most...exquisite," the Dark Eldar said as they passed through the busy streets of Dreadhaven. Razauil turned and saw an interesting creature following them, which he noticed couple of minutes ago on their ship. A new comrade then? "And who might you be, stalking us like that?" Razauil smiled.
A20 Torek perked up at being addressed and allowed his long stride to catch him up to the Dark Eldar that had addressed him. The Kroot beat a fist to his chest as he replied the pointy-eared being, "Torek, Kindred. I am hopeful this broker has what I need, I am eager to match the tallies of you lot. Now how do I address you all, other than Kindred?" He looked down at the Eldar and then up to the Ogryn, noting scents to names.
A18 "Razauil" the Dark Eldar smiled as he nodded to the Kroot. "This is Resh and the big guy is Jalp." "So, you are going to the broker as well? What kind of work are you attempting to find? And why don't you just team up with us and hunt for some slaves?"
There was a loud clack as the Kroot's beak snapped at the open air in response, "I am hungry for one, Razauil." He eyed the three and mulled it over for a moment. Torek could never doubt his own abilities, but it could prove an opportunity to gauge his comrade's skills and worth. With our numbers, two jobs may not be beyond our reach.. I may still have my fill. He attempted his best approximation of a smile, ultimately only revealing a salivating maw. "If I assist you three with your capture of these runaways, perhaps you'll help me locate a bounty from this broker? Barring that, guarantee me a fresh kill, Eldar."
A18 "I'm not going to guarantee you anything. This is not a charity mission and we are not some washed-up sailors. You pull your own weight and if you are able, you will find your prey. If you survive, you will get your share of the loot and do with it as you please," the Dark Eldar smiled. "Now, on the other hand, I like your proposal. The more the merrier!"
A croaking emitted from the Kroot's throat, laughter at the prospect of allowing another to earn his pay. "Then for loot and.. Merriment? Let us get to the broker so we can begin our hunt!"
A18 "That's the spirit!" Razauil laughed as they continued down the road. Eventually they found their way to the information broker and there asked about the needed information.
OoC: I'm just waiting for the opportunity to drop the Shaper's line from Dawn of War. "You are strong, it would be good to have that strength." Seriously, read it in his voice only.
A15 "YES I 'ave metal 'umie! " The butchered up welders mask still sat over his eyes. "An yooz was just da Cyber 'umie I was lookin fer! Loot mentioned 'e needed a command chip but 'ez wouldn't take mine sayin 'E was gonna die. " The Ork offered out the piece of flattened metal inscribed with crude Orkish glyphs. "Fit in just fine once I widened da slot but 'e said somin bout a fatal error. "
