"He had a job to do, but failed doing so. I'm concerned about his well-being, that's all" Razauil simply answered.

Natalya crossed her arms as they walked. One of her hands slipping closer to the hilt of her blade in order to give her an appearance of non-hostility, while being able to grab her blade in an instant.

Torek finally locates the arena, pulling ahead of the Orks through the crowd and due to the shocking similarity between this planet and his homeworld. Regarding the humans as they size him up in turn, he approaches the man who appears to be taking the names of fighters. "Human, I wish to participate in your pit fights."

Seeing their Beaky Git had the right idea Mulch shoved his way through the crowds, these humans looked pretty alright by his standards. No fancy coats or anything aside from the odd rain jacket but their shocking yellow color was one that spoke to something Orky inside him so he simply nodded as he passed. Eventually wandering up behind Torek the Slugga Boy hefted his Choppa. "Ready fer da fightin!"

The team walked aimlessly as they looked for the arena, enduring the harsh weather that assaulted them in its many forms. The moisture in the air had accumulated into mild fog as a result of the storm that descended from the sky. After half an hour of searching, they noticed in the middle of town stood a Colosseum made of stone and steel. It was not large in height, nowhere near the size of the wall that surrounded the town, but it looked like it could hold at least a hundred onlookers inside and enough space in the fighting pit to allow for evasive maneuvers while in combat. It looked ancient, but it still stood the test of time. It helped that signs of construction littered the outside of the arena dome as a few construction workers seemed to be replacing some of the steel reinforcements of the Colosseum with newer, more reliable plating.

Increasing in speed, both in excitement and in order to get out of the thick rainfall, the team made their way to the Colosseum's entrance. As they entered the shade from the stone ceiling now above their heads, Skullcrusha swung his arms around a little and brushed some of the dirt and water off of himself. A quick observation of the Colosseum brought memories of the old fighting pits in Dreadhaven, crude yet durable enough to withstand a whole lot of raging Orks and the many terrifying beasts that the local lords had obtained from the darkest corners of the galaxy. The entrance was guarded by two guards, both armed to the teeth with riot gear alongside the armor to protect them from small arms fire and cheap melee weapons. They stood on both ends of the door, which was made of incredibly durable wood, shipped from some of the mightiest, and rather expensive, bark from the strongest tress that credits could buy. The front of the door was further reinforced with steel barriers, with two locks on both corners of the metal frame. It would required both keys to enter, which Skullcrusha assumed was on the guards persons at all times.

As the rather large group approached the guards, the two humans looked at each other uneasily while readying their weapons and shields. Skullcrusha kept his Lasgun's muzzle pointed safely on the ground, unfazed by the hostility from the guards. "Oy, calm yourselves down ya humie gits. We are simply here to join the fighting competition." He spoke calmly for an Ork, speaking in his generally clear Low Gothic in an attempt to put the guards at ease. He didn't want to fight them needlessly as a result of their xenophobia, for that would only stir up unwanted trouble. Besides, he wanted to save his energy for the arena.

  6. OOC: Was waiting for you to actually describe what type of merchant the person was instead of me making it up to avoid certain conflicts plot wise. But if you say I can engage the person first then I'll do that :3

    Merchant Grudges: A dirty business

-As Harker approached the merchant in question, he was confronted by a pair of thugs obviously being paid as security. Assuring them he was of no harm and even allowing them to frisk him for any hidden weapons, they let him pass and he was able to gain audience with the merchant. As Harker followed the man into a slightly more secluded area, away from earshot of other people, Harker began to lay out that he was a mercenary looking for work. Knowing that merchants almost always had something "interesting" or "exotic" to be solved, he came to him first seeing as this person appeared to be the most authoritative. As Harker spoke to the gentleman/woman, he also passively looked around the area to see if there was anything hinting to a black market business with this particular person.-

''Ha, sure. Well, whatever, pay up first.''

Razauil placed the credits on to the bar's top. The barman picked them up, quickly counting them.

''Yea. He rented a room here. Far as I know, he's upstairs still,'' the man said.

    One of the men laughed.

''You, fight in here?'' he said.

''Wait, think 'bout it. The boss always says bring the best fighters. Who can fight better than Orks?'' the other said.

''Oh, yea. Okay, in your go. But don't start shit, or they'll be scooping you up when we're done with you.''

The guards parted, allowing the group to pass.

The two guards unlock the door and opened it wide for them and the crowd to enter. Skullcrusha walked in front, wanted to get a better look of the inside. After a quick observation, it was clear that the "Colosseum" was in fact a morphed Imperial Stronghold, though it was notably small in size to most. Aged statues of Imperial knights and noble warriors stood tall and proud, but were damaged from the passing of time. The people here likely didn't wish to spend the resources to fix them, deciding it best to put forth such funding to keep the structure standing. It had been constructed on to change it to be the dome it is today, but he thought it was a waste of a good fortified position. But he guessed that if it wasn't going to be used like it should, it was best to make some use of it.

Skullcrusha turned to the rest of the group. "Ok, you lot! Ready yourselves for some propa fighting. I don't want to see any of ya get smashed by some grot, got it? Best of luck to ya, and may the best fighta win."

Torek snorted at the guards as he walked past them and into the waiting area for fighters. He had just one goal in mind with these fights, despite the backwater nature of this Imperial world. Make a name, make a reputation, not just for himself but for the Captain's crew. Leave a lasting impression, get the audience to spread the word on just what "xenos" were capable. Someone somewhere would be keen to hire brutish Orks and savage Kroot, it all would come together and pay back into the Mortal Vengeance's coffers. Leaning back against a wall so he could eye the potential competition, Torek focused on bringing out the best possible match this crowd had ever seen.
