Mulch rattled about within the Valkyrie's hold for the usual run down toward the planet, squished between the other two Orks present he was focused on sharpening his big choppa which lead tot he odd poke or jab against nearby crew whenever the vehicle was lashed by heavy rain or strong winds.

As soon as the ramp dropped and those nearest had cleared out Mulch jumped from the hold, finding himself knee deep in a muddy sink hole. "Oh zoggin...Gork an Mork...I'z gonna krump dis w'ole world! Stupid spore 'ole makin me MUCK ABOUT!" With that last bit of rage he managed to rip his limbs free of the mud....winding up in another patch of soft damp ground that went up to his ankles. In classic Ork fashion he began hacking away viciously at the earth before stomping out and making a jump toward the solid ground of the landing pad. "Gonza go find me dat arena, need ta krump a few gitz...sod em, sock em..."

The doors of the Valkyrie opened slowly, like it always did. The artificial light above their heads turned off as the gushing, heavy wind and the barrage of raindrops from the outside pushed its way into the now open transport. The sky was darkened with dark grey clouds, and the occasional thunderbolt spiraled and lit their surroundings in a blaze of bright glory. The surroundings were made up of old Imperial buildings and a few newly contrasted ones. Signs of rust and decay was evident on almost all of the buildings, even a few of the newer ones. The unrelenting weather obviously has taken a toll on them.

Around the "city", as it looked more like a large town to Skullcrusha, stood a rather impressive wall that any observer could tell was of Imperial military design. Thoughts of such a need of a wall like that led him to believe that the planet's inhabitants were either hostile, or that a battle had consumed the planet at one point. Either way, the Imperium seemed to want this place secured. But signs of Imperial Guard was nowhere to be seen, even in the buildings that looked like housing for the Guard. In fact, it looked completely abandoned with the windows barricaded and the overall structure closed off to any outsider. Skullcrusha hopped out of the wet steel of the Valkyrie's floor and into the soft, muddy ground beneath them that immediately splattered onto his boots.

The people, he observed, were not as well dressed as the humans on the spaceport they had just left. No, these humans looked like lowly bandits, pirates, and old colonists who dressed appropriately to deal with such weather. Nothing fancy like that spacey-port, just what they needed and a little less. This was the planet they found themselves in. A damned hellhole, but a livable hellhole nonetheless.

It wasn't long before the inhabitants noticed them, being xenos and all. Looks of disgust, hate, and fear ran among them. They were not used to seeing many xenos here, and the Imperium's teachings have proved effective in its campaign to spread xenophobia throughout humanity. However, his train of thought was interrupted when he heard a large splash nearby as wet mud went flying everywhere. Skullcrusha turned to see that one of his fellow Ork's had fallen into a pothole in the ground. He watched, amused by the Ork's bad luck, as the Ork destroyed the mud around him in rage before having the sense to simply step out of the watery hole from which he fell. The Ork cursed and made his way to the arena, while Skullcrusha stayed close with the others who wanted to go as well. He had plans to look around for a little while before attending the arena tournament.

Maybe he could help around for some quick credits, but it didn't matter if that didn't happen. He was just glad to have his feet on the hard, earthly ground. While being in space was not a problem, it never felt right. Like something was just plain odd about it. Not like being on a living planet. That made him feel right at home. Taking a moment to inhale and exhale the fresh air around him, he made off through the town to his destination.

Torek splashed down into the muck behind the Orks, taking a deep breath of this new planet's atmosphere. In a way, it reminded him of his homeworld of Teek. Another swamp-filled feral world, he felt right at home managing to avoid the deeper pits and puddles, much unlike Mulch apparently. However, he couldn't enjoy the world for long as he began to follow the Orks to search for this arena they would soon be fighting within, ignoring the stares of the humans as they went.

"You forgot Rape." The Tau whispered to the ear of the Dark Eldar, before they headed off. She remained mostly as bodyguard with the Autopistol always ready to shoot.

Especially when Razauil warned for action, her eyes opened up on her surrounding. Trying to figure out whom of them would be more dangerous than others, picking priority targets among the people.

-As Harker walked back into his room aboard the ship, he took the shotgun off from the holster on his back and began to clean and strip it. As the minutes rolled by, Harker removed the layers of grime and blood from the weapon before rebuilding it and test firing it (not loaded) to ensure it still worked. Happy with the audible dry click, Harker places the shotgun on the makeshift weapon rack he built along the wall. Taking the looted autogun and going through the same process, he places the weapon when finished against the weapon rack and moves on to his final acquisition, the shock maul. Polishing the weapon and ensuring the intricate wiring inside is secured and working, he attaches it to his belt and begins to set off to the ships hanger. Seeing that the Valkyrie has just returned from dropping off everyone else, he waits for the crewmen to refuel it before getting aboard and enjoying the solace of the journey down to the planet. (Yes, I enjoy wasting our precious fuel reserves just cause.)-

-As the Valkyrie enters the atmosphere of the planet and makes its way to the small landing field within the settlement they are to stay in temporarily, Harker takes the opportunity to mentally map out the layout from the sky. He sees where he assumes the fighting pits are and the relative layout of the settlement. His eye however is set on a different area within the settlement. A small strip of merchants highlighted by the canvas tents above them and Harker decides to head there instead of the pit fights seeing as how he would already be late to the tournament. The Valkyrie begins to slowly descend as it reaches the landing pads and before it even hits the ground, Harker opens up the side hatch for the gunner and jumps out landing feet first. Waving off the pilot to return to the ship, he watches it slowly ascend and bank away from the settlement.-

-Turning in place to head in the direction he saw the merchants, Harker begins his reconnaissance of the area in the hopes that the greedy merchants would have a few odd jobs to do or even some good merchandise. Who knows, perhaps if he does some dirty work for them they would offer a discount for services rendered.-

(Blah blah blah, Harker reaches the mercantile district)

-As Harker rounded the streets corner into the ungainly collection of unwashed bodies and mass of people, he begins to make his way through to where he sees a more permanent trader....an Imperial merchant. Knowing from his experiences that they always have some type of dirty work to be done, Harker bets that this man and his associates would be more than happy to hire him temporarily...especially in a scum filled establishment such as this.-

[End Exert] Awaiting GM clarification of the merchant and possible mission. Harker has abandoned the Pit Fights due to his 3-5 hour delay to the arena and has instead gone to reconnaissance.

Resh stepped out of the valkyrie onto the planet's moist, fertile soil. Too moist, and too fertile for her tastes, she realized, as she had to pull her boot and foot out of a muddy hole in the ground. She was almost ready to set out for the arena, as she heard a loud splashing, mulching noise. Curious as she is, the Dark Eldar walked to the cargo hold to inspect.
"Well, well, well, Misters Mulch and Death's Head. I was already wondering where I would find you two, after all, there is gardening to do... you travelled in the cargo bay? Interesting!", she chirped in rapid succession before noticing the other two. "Oh, and the great hunter, and another greenskin I do not know of, as well? If you are like those two, I believe we will get along splendidly!"
Resh clasped her hands together, imitating a 'cute' gesture she had seen human maids do when something amused them.
"I assume you will seek your luck in the arena as well? I am already looking forward to these fights! But beforehand-" Bowing deeply before the third greenskin, she used her most mellow voice possible, "I am Reshiel L'lemwyn, a pleasure to meet you alongside the rest of the crew."

Mulch waved at Resh. "Oiy Extra Pointy Pointy Grot....errm, Rush yar? Rush, yooz Rush. Watch out fer dis mud, itz kunnin an likes ta grab at ya more den regular mud. " Kicking some of the stuff up with each step he wasn't hard to follow as it traveled with the Greenskin as if he was some sort of beast that had clawed it's way free of the soil itself.

    Quarters.

Drops of sweat ran down Simonias forehead, a vivid dream that still lingered in his mind had awaken him from his uneasy sleep, a taste of sweet honey clanged on his tongue. He felt as hot as a furnace on it breaking point, you could almost see his skin shimmer in the red of overheated steel. His head rested in his hands, his jet black hair hang like a curtain in front of his face. With a soft motion with his right hand the curtain was pulled aside and revealed sharpened needle teeth in a wicked smile. He bit his lip and blood started to fill his mouth, the taste of honey mixed with iron.

When did he sharpen his teeth, had he even done it or was he still dreaming? The pain in his lip told him otherwise.
He could feel something wriggle in his mouth, like a worm trying to push its way out. He opened his mouth trying to spit out the parasite from his mouth. A black serpent-like worm wriggled between his sharp teeth, it didn't seem to want to let go of his throat it clawed and struggled like a feral animal defending its nest.
He wanted to lick his lips to get rid of the iron taste of blood in his mouth, but wherever he tried to put his tongue the serpent followed.
These are my gifts to you, first of many.

A pain sharp as a knife stabbed in the back of his head lingered or was it pleasure he felt, the lines of the feelings were blurred. Or are they the same just in different flavors?
Who are they to decide what pleasure is.

Simonias tried to stand up, the world started to spin as multi-colored rays crackled along the floor and upwards the walls, he looked up at the ceiling. The rays formed something that could almost be described as the northern lights of Terra in the ceiling.

OOC: Awaiting arrival in to arena :)

The bartender looked down at the credits, and back up at the xenos.

''I might have. What's it to you?''

    OOC: I don't mind.

OOC: Tasks are possible from nearly any source. However you're yet to have actually approached him, so waiting until you have before engaging.
