Mission 2: Going Loud -Reaching the primary corridor hub, Harker quickly took a look in the other tow directions to see if anyone was there. Almost two doors down the left central corridor, Harker saw a small group of guards playing a game of "Emperors Dirty Hands" (similar to poker) and began to wave for the rest of the squad to begin moving past. As Cooper past him, bringing up the flank, Harker pointed out the newest threat that could reveal them. Whispering quietly to Cooper- "In the event the alarm is triggered, those guards over there will be the first to come towards the armory, I need you to leave a few men behind to ensure they can't arm themselves and stop the us when we storm the bridge." "Agreed, I'll have Peters and Reynolds stay behind an guard our flanks. What's your plan if we get to the bridge?" "Shoot anyone who is a threat, hope the door to the bridge isn't locked, and pray they aren't all armed or else we might be walking into a massive trap. -waits for a few seconds as if deep in thought- It's time we moved on, we're wasting enough time getting into position as it is, the Engineering team should be almost ready." -as the assault team continued down the corridor up to the heavy blast doors separating the cargo bay areas to the bridge and security sections, Harker turned to address the gathered men (and women if present)- "Alright, when we go past this door...there is no guarantee on what will happen. Our initial goal and plan is to break into the armory and take only what will aid us in the bridge assault. Peters and Reynolds are going to cover our flanks until we have secured the objective. On our way back, take as much as you can pending conditions with us back to the ship, it will be an ample boon for our cause to "liberate" these supplies. -looking towards Cooper- Time?" OOC: Consider yourself as having made it uncontested. [noted] The innards of the vessel appeared far less protected than the outside. Perhaps the constant threat of death for disobedience had proven sufficient to keep the crew in line. Inside a half dozen engineers were quickly scurrying around, performing whatever task they had been given. A pair of security men patrolled the area.
M2 Seeing the opposition, Resh clicked her tongue, trying to get Razauil's attention. The message she wanted to convey was quick and simple - she used naught but her hands, a silent question. *Guards die first - Noncombatants later?* She eagerly awaited the answer. [Sorry for Boldness... IDK what causes this.]
M2 Razauil nodded but indicated her to stand still. Moving through an entire room filled with people was a risk he didn't want to take just yet. Instead, he bid his time, staying hidden near the doorway and waiting until the patrol came about. He pointed at the one of the incoming guards, *That one is mine, you take the second* (OOC imagine he did more than just point at one dude ). The patrol came and passed, following a preset route. Once they were in range, Razauil jumped from cover and without a word, rammed his spear into the guard's spine. OOC more detailed description inc once everyone does their jam.
M2 Almost gleeful at another opporturnity to kill, Resh tensed up and waited until the two guards came closer... closer... closer... Almost simultanous with her kin, she reached out. Her hand quickly found its way to his mouth, holding it and the nose night, muffling a surprised gasp for air. The Dark Eldar pulled him close to her, closer to the shadows, and for a second, almost carressed him as her hands moved over his body and to his temples. What looked like a short and loving gesture quickly lost its glamour as her movement's true purpose became apparent with a crack. Smiling, she softly put him on the ground.
M2 The first strike was followed by a second - a spear shaft broke the guard's skull as he slumped to the floor, gurgling. The sound of kill was muffled by the screaming of engines as Razauil pulled the body back into the shadow. He nodded at his kin, obviously impressed by her move. She didn't lack subtlety. But now, another problem occurred. The engineers would without a doubt notice that the patrol went missing. They had to act fast. Razauil turned around and slowly crept inside of the room. ------- OOC Ok since there are 6 engineers inside, 2 for me, 2 for Resh, 2 for Tau, but since our Skitarii is here as well, I would love to see him kill something if you want that ofc ahhahaha. Okey, so the next move should be simultaneous with the other players etc... ------- He saw the first enemy turned away from him and inspecting some console. The Dark Eldar crept closer and closer, using his silent movement and the noise to cover his approach. The engineer didn't even know what happened as he blacked out, being struck with a spear shaft in the back of his head. Razauil smirked but his joy was short-lived as another Engineer suddenly came from the right. Shocked by what he just saw, some papers fell from his hands as he tried to reach his sidearm. The Dark Eldar turned towards him and in one quick motion, threw his spear. It hit home and the man was rammed in the engine compartment behind.
[OOC: I'd be willing to give up one kill for Nino, if he wants one.] M2 Smirking back at her kin, feeling empowered by his appreciative nod, she shortly motioned a *You too* before stalking forward, a female Engineer standing at a console in her eyes. Closer and closer she prowled, feeling like a hunter in the darkness, gracefully gliding past the others before she stood up to full size behind it and tapped its shoulder. As Engineer Gerhard looked over his shoulder, his colleague was gone. Hm, she prolly had to take a break or something. He wouldn't rat her out. Owed her at least that after she covered for him when he went to check on his wife. Around a corner, Resh was not sure what to do with her newest victim, especially considering she didn't have cutting tools with her. She was pushing it into the wall with one hand, and keeping its mouth shut with the other. The Dark Eldar thought and thought. When suddenly... Now that is a capital idea! Happy that she had found a fun way to kill it, she moved closer, and noticed something odd. Quickly she held her ear to the mon-keigh's chest and then her finger to its neck. She released it and then looked at her own hand, confused, and then at the mon-keighs blue lips. "Oh... not another one." Disappointed, she slinked back to regroup after hiding the body.
