I know it's tactically unsound and stupid as hell, but I don't believe you posted an RP post of telling the humans to take it. And now I can't exactly write "actually Deff'ead thought about it again and bowed to the superior tactical choice of letting the 'umies have it" I don't mean for this to come off aggressive but there is no way for my char to put down the autocannon now without any outer influence, it wouldn't be in the spirit of playing an ork is all.
  2. yeah, and at the moment you might have a background, but your char is still a 10 thumbed retard like the rest of us :p (speaking in broad terms, i know we got some sneaky gits)
and we have never elected you, and honestly, why would the ork care what a squimy human said, hes a bloody ork
    Alldoom likes this.
  3. There's always the option of me telling the hired guns to "accidentally" drop a grenade on the Orks, I'm sure they would actually be happy to do so especially since I am allowing them to take majority of the weapons and ammunition. Also if you go back to the briefing, I already said I was leading the bridge assault AND that the Xenos weren't supposed to come with us to the bridge unless they could pass as human because we had to attempt to get past several rooms where hostiles would be in that could sound the alarm and ruin the mission. If you even ended up coming up to the armory, it would have been after the hired guns and myself had reached it anyway because we went in first, especially since no one initially volunteered for the bridge assault when I asked almost four times before we started it.

Skullcrusha had his own plan for the bridge, and he has more NOC's to back him up. I'd also wager that Mulch and Deff'ead would rather and Ork be in charge. Take that!

Besides, I'm pretty sure we should get a confirmation from the GM so that we can know for sure if the enemy captain on the bridge knew we were coming before we can continue. Not sure it is wise to jumping to conclusions like this.

One more thing, wouldn't it be wise to wait for the Engineering team to meet back up with us? Strength in numbers and all that.

And one last thing! I sent a few pirates to mess with security. Maybe they could have just told those at the bridge that it was just a small power outage as a result from short-circuiting hardware.
Alldoom and Grall Stonefist like this.

I'm so lost as to who went where now.
  6. And in the end, you werent the boss, so the real boss let them go with you, and you dont control the npc's so maybe, or maybe they think, 'hm the ork wants the gun, sure why not' .
you are no ones boss dude, people follow orders if they want to, or else, who gives a damn, Jalp wouldent have givin it up because your char said something, so im sure an ork wont.

i know i am at the bridge and some orks went to engineer and some went to the armory a pysker arbite and astartes is at the bridge i think with 2 orks and enigineering has the kroot a ork 2 dark eldar and a tau. If i am correct but i am not sure
  8. Already stated in an earlier post I would revise further postings if the Engineering team wasn't successful at that point in the armory. This is just advancing it because he did say "I don't really care what Riggs does for the Bridge assault at this point" when the main generators go out on you for no reason and you can't raise Engineering, any respectable leader is going to immediately assume they are either A: Very unlucky which leads to B: Under attack.

Engineering is all the way on the other side of the ship and as outlined in the original plan, they would fall back to the rally point upon completing their objective to cover our escape when we pullback to the cargo hanger, there's also no telling on whether or not that way will be clear because we did pass several guards who would by now definitely coming up to the armory as per training and precaution. Once they run into our NPCs guarding that way, they will either vox for reinforcements or in the case they don't have comms running, send a runner to grab as many able bodies as they can and attempt to take back the armory.

The Security was back behind us before the armory and the bridge, they were a bit pre-occupied with that card game to really give a fuck earlier since we weren't making a lot of noise to attract any attention. A short circuit wouldn't take out this cruisers three-four engines all at once. This is a military vessel larger than our own and based off the schematics, this would not happen, especially when they docked not to long ago.
  9. I second this notion since most people didn't respond to the several requests two-three days ago about who was going where when asked by the GM, myself, and two other people until after the mission had started. Informing me after I have already started the assault is like the military sending new orders to Afghanistan saying "Oh by the way, we forget to mention that you can't do anything until the next wave comes because we were too lazy to inform you before you arrived. Our bad...GLHF"

I said I was going to Engine rooms, but since I twelve hours yesterday driving down the East coast back home and spent today working, I'm lost. Who am I working with?
