No, as team leader I desiginate the autocannon to the NPCs. They will need it in case the crew decides to come to the Captains rescue. You can't honestly expect two soldiers to hold down that hallway with just autoguns and grenades. The autocannon will help secure the area and there is only ONE MAGAZINE on it which is good for only about one sustained volley (20 rounds) so it wouldn't be of much use on the bridge assault, plus we aren't trying to void the bridge by blowing out the windows if she happens to be in space, which is most likely the case since it is too big to fit inside the hanger.

I was designated team leader since it was my plan for the bridge assault and also as an Arbite stationed in a Navy station, my character has more experience in assaulting ships making him the most obvious choice. Plus as team leader, you have to be one of the first three into the fight or leading the charge yourself, chance of mortality is increased greatly. Still want to volunteer?
