It's not really splitting hairs when the lore shows them to not consider themselves human any more. They're beyond being just human.

Just human and NON human is different story.

And the thing with the female humans is, well.... Black Crusade (the PnP) has quite things also for female chaos ppl. I understand the female 'regular' humans may be EX-IG and mercenaries, but female chaos cultists should be fine ; except you explain it that way that:

Ex-IG = Renegade => Chaos / Unaligned with anyone (i.e. like Udius in Red Corsairs is)
Mercenary = can be Ex-IG soldier => Non-chaos affiliated
