Almost, I looked after it, Ultima online, but the Everquest "Sleeper" was a good example too.

Not so much misinformation as incomplete information. that article lists the first appearance a millennium and a half before the fire hawks disappeared. so there are more then just the remnants of that chapter.

The original Fire Hawks numbered 200 surviving Battle-Brothers.

there is no source about the number.

this is pasted directly from codex legion of the damned.

First off Lexicanum is not 100% accurate.Better than Wiki but neither is perfect and that is straight from an Editor at Black Library.
It has never been stated how many LotD there are.Even the old fluff about the Firehawks was written as speculation from an Inquisitors viewpoint. The last Ultramarine books had them helping out and one clearly had an Ultima.Seems the new fluff is going to be they are the Avenging Ghosts of Former Marines but that is just my theory.
Point is they are a mystery even in the fluff.

Even the 40k backstory is like a giant game of Telephone stories, from stories about stories based on myths that were once real 1000's of years ago.Nothing is accurate everything you have been told is a Lie.
Most of the Imperium believes Space Marines are Myths stories from the Church and would burn you as a Heretic if you mentioned the possibility of a Space Marine falling to Chaos.
Infact 99% do not even have a clue about Chaos and if a non Imperial Agent does they get killed, the Grey Knights and Inquisition have killed whole populations just because they might of witnessed a Daemon as in the First War of Armageddon.
  8. There will be no way to fully keep lore intact in an MMO like this. So we can't expect that. I am not sure why the incredibly extensive arguments about the way this is being done - you have a simple choice that I will not present again.

Personally, I want the project to succeed so I will spend what I can to help it. If it doesn't, then I am out a measly $100-$200 bucks, wow. Most of us eat out enough in a couple weeks to afford that.

Yes, thank you for this. It has become tiresome - time to move on.

I agree about the titles, I don't really like the tiered titles, which is why I don't use them, I just use my forums title, you can deselect it at you founder profile if you would like to do the same. I prefer having a title earned than one purchased, but I would like to display that I'm a Founder and not have to point out how much I paid. I guess the devs just wanted to offer better rewards for bigger founders packs, but this one felt a bit unnecessary. And I guess I can kind of see you point about the Warrior pack, "a founder is a founder no matter the size of their pack" (Now I sound like Horton the elephant xD). I think the devs believe this as well, but haven't shown it as much as they should.
