When the Cross Platform ability because active will I be able to play my PC characters on my X-Box/PS?
when the platform providers agree to come to the party...so far its probably buried in red-tape and copyright laws etc etc but the Devs have said that if/when that happens the players will be able to swap device
The only problem with this scenario is it is no cheaper then buying the captains package, and in all honesty can actually end up being more expensive. Let's assume you bought the sergeant pack for $80 (this is also not addressing the tax issue raised later in the thread which could increase the total cost even more), which means you start out with 92k RTP points. To get to the next tier requires you purchase another 58k RTP points. If you were to purchase the $50 RTP point bundle you would still be 500 RTP short and would have surpassed the $120 budget for the Captains pacakge, still requiring you to purchase more. If you purchased the $30 dollar bundle you would have to purchase two to cover the 58k RTP difference which again puts you at over $120. If you chose the $15 dollar RTP package you would have to buy 4 of them to reach the same RTP as captains pack putting you over the $120. And lastly if you were to purchase the $5 RTP bundle you would need to purchase 12 of them to match RTP with Captains package which would still put you over the $120. So in all honesty unless you're getting RTP from referalls and you're just buying a pack to cover the ***small*** amount of RTP you need to get to the next package you're better off just buying the package or package upgrade outright otherwise you'll spend a lot more in the long run!
The last but of your statement is the problem. alpha tests aren't ussually the full game, and on top of that, they are not continuous. I think this is a major thing that the devs have had difficulty making clear. The module access is continious. if, and I stress if, you get access to the alpha, it will be for a weekend at a time most likely. People need to quit whining anyway. The modules are a way for the developer to keep people excited about the game, and their giving access to that roughly 6 months to a year before the game. does no one remember when you had to wait for the disk/cartage to be in a store? The new way of doing things gets something good for both sides, so quit bitchin and just enjoy it. I can see complaining about the prices, some of those seem seem a tad excessive to me as well, but come on. people that complain that they should be let into the alpha because they paid more are the same people that when they get in bitch that the game is buggy and not finished.
Ok, one more time, its not about rareness. the 200 player cap ingame needed because the LORE. The Legion of the Damned is no more than 200 warrior according to the lexicarium. Ok we are founders and likely we will not try to ruin the game, but how you gona defend against the LULZ? What if someone say : hey guyz lets activate our LOD power togeather... and boom 300 LOD in the game. I remember the golden years (end of 90s), first MMO or something like that, there was a NPC in the game who supose to be a GOD, unkillable ect. This guy took the time and the effort to find a legit way to kill him. Boom, lore ruined got banned. And thats how I am with the LOD question here. If someone can do it, he will do it for the LULZ. In my perspective, the 200 cap is reasonable, and only a little safety lock for the lore.
There will be no max spawn caps mate...we had the same discussion regarding TDA's and Hero's and the Devs said no caps
No, you did not. You did not pay anything mor then someone who buys it at release. in fact, you paid less, due to the free points. You bought the game. The game has been repeatedly stated to be fully funded, so you are preordering, not crowdfunding. I cannot link them on here, as my phone is being a pain in the ass, but it has been repeatedly stated by Miguel. and alphas are never continious. The devs need something tested, so they open up a few areas and let people play for a while, then take it down and fix things. I've never heard of one going more then 5 days. What you are thinking of is the open beta, which is ussually a server stress test, and that'll only happen maybe a month before release. I can to a point understand the complaints about the warrior pack not having the banner and such, but it doesn't bother me. I only have the warrior pack for now, and if that's all I have at release, that's life. They have to add something to make the sargent/Captain pack worth more then the extra points, otherwise no one would buy them.
Not likely to happen. I'm sure there will be more then 1000 of the codex following chapters too. The devs have said that the lore will be bent, but sometimes it's necessary for gameplay. Also, I believe it's ever quest you're talking about.
ok, soo according to lore, the full 200 LOD warrior will be presented at Arkhona + a mistical 100 LOD Arkhona will be like Horus Heresy 2.0, if we need all of them
