All I have to say is this,
You all plan and scheme under the influence of the Great Tzeentch.
You all lust after sex and pleasure or even order in the galaxy, feeding Great Slaanesh.
You all ride into battle and slaughter when you hear the call of Great Khorn in the backs of your minds.
And in the end you all decay and die, feeding my patron Great Grandfather Nurgle.

Chaos ALWAYS wins in the end, one way or another
    Exodes and Putrefaction like this.

With heavy bolter in hand and the blessings of the grandfather in my body, I declare that I am indeed ready to fight the servants of the carrion king. I declare that I am ready to halt the green tide. I declare that I am ready to purge the galaxy of the last Eldar filth and it brings me great sorrow that you can not say the same "brother".
  3. Do not mistake my words as a sign that I do not long for battle, you plague ridden excuse for a warrior. I stand ready to fight the Long War, for as long as I am able. I merely state you would have to be more rotted in the mind then I previously believed if you think the Gods will ever allow us to do away with all our enemies. A universe without challenge, is a universe that stagnates, and Chaos, being fundamentally a creation of anarchy and change, will never allow for such a state to occur. Of course, I should not be surprised a servant of the Plaguefather seeks the dreary, quiet life of a universe conquered.

Not you, you are fine in my book. I meant the (I was honestly going to call him a heretic of heresy but found that rather redundant) "servant" that started this conversation. You I agree with, him not so much. The conflict within chaos is essential can can't be done away with as he is suggesting. It's the Great Game for gods sake.

Addendum - My brain is plenty rotted, it comes with the gifts of the grandfather. It ain't called "Nurgle's Rot" for nothing you know.

You wish to end the eternal war? An impossible and foolish venture, for we are meant for war. Blood, death, disease, betrayal and hedonism. These are our purposes, for we have forgotten and forsaken our original one: The protection of mankind.

I shall fight on, to please the gods and gain strength for the day the imperium wanes and we are given the opportunity to crush it on a silver platter, that day I shall strike hard and deep and change the galaxy forever.

Every war is fought for a reason. And in the end, one side will run out of troops, and be crushed by the enemies. All war ends inevitably. It is my purpose to ensure that Chaos is the last faction standing when the Long War finally ends. Only then can I have the one thing I have never felt in my long, zealous life. Only then can I be at peace.

  8. Look, I'm not going to stand here on a pedestal and preach to you. You're right. Chaos does have one goal. But it is not a structured goal and it is not "to slay the Emperor" and "seize the Imperium." The Gods of Chaos have only one simple goal...and that is to devour the universe and all the life within it, including you. If you truly think you're anything more than a crumb of food to the Gods you serve then you're only fooling yourself.

At least you get cool, spikey armour and shit though. Gotta give you that one. ;)
  9. It doesn't sound like you "completely" disagree with me. It sounds like you basically agree with my assessment of the Chaos Gods seeing all living things as food but your argument is that they want to draw it out slowly and painfully so as to sustain their food source. That doesn't negate the fact that everything in the universe, including those that serve them, is still basically food to them.
  10. If you have to ask, "Is it so bad?" then it's definitely not good. :p
