Brothers, we have fought for thousands of years to destroy the falsehood that is the Imperium. Yet, in those thousands of years, I have seen us devolve into complete animals. Let me explain: During the Horus Heresy, our legions were unified. Despite turning to Chaos, we were still a well-structured group of well-structured Chaos Space Marine legions. We were building the foundation of a new Theocracy of Chaos Undivided, the Imperium of Chaos!!! We were unified behind Horus in his dream to throw down the Anathema and remake the Imperium in the image of the Dark Gods. Now, however, we are not structured at all. The Emperors Children, followers of Slaanesh, are almost extinct as a legion, the World Eaters are eating each other (literally), and every legion, INCLUDING THE BLACK LEGION ITSELF, is fragmented into many war-torn, infighting warbands. The only legion that has preserved it's hierarchy and control are the Word Bearers. The Daemon Primarchs are doing nothing about this, leaving their legions to rot and die. We are, in this state, incapable of facing the Imperium. The time of our greatest power was the Horus Heresy, when we were mighty and unified under the banner of Chaos Undivided. Now, WE DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT OUR GOAL IS!!!!!! Many of us say things like: "whatever the warp I want" "first off, kill you and take all your stuff. Welcome to Chaos." This is Blasphemy and Heresy greater than the lies of the Emperor himself!! Chaos has one, well-structured goal, and that is to slay the Emperor, seize the Imperium, NOT DESTROY IT, AND REMAKE THE IMPERIUM AS A THEOCRACY OF CHAOS UNDIVIDED!!!! We need to remember the glories of the Horus Heresy, and look to those times for guidance. If we continue on the path we are set on now, Chaos, and mankind, is doomed. If Abbadon doesn't get his crap together and reunify the Chaos Space Marines, then someone has to.
Of course you traitor scum can't face us. Hate to break it to you but chaos is...Well...Chaotic in nature. You'll never be an organised force because order is not accepted in the warp. You seem better suited to imperial logic and order, perhaps you chose the wrong side?
I did not choose this side, I was born into it. My father was a Dark Apostle, my mother a Daemon Prince(ss). Regardless, even if I had a choice, I wouldn't choose the Imperium, loyalist dog.
Regardless of what you would've chosen you are a traitor and you will be destroyed along with the rest of your heretical comrades.
Discussing chaos space marines. It's not like I won't have a character in every faction because 'Herp derp spess mehrens' and even if I made 4 loyalist characters I'd still want to know what was happening to the other factions.
1st of all, If I was imperial, I would be a High Lord at this point 2nd of all, I was born on Sicarus, raised by my father, a very powerful Dark Apostle (*cough* Erebus *cough) and taught the will of the Gods since I was very young. I am Chaos through and through, and I will be one of the many Chaos Lords that help rebuild the Imperium as a Theocracy of Chaos.
Foolish Word Bearer, no wonder you see failure, for despite how much you claim to listen to the Gods, you miss the one truth in the path we all walk. The Chaos Gods will never let us win in our struggle against the Imperium, for in their eyes, they have already gained what they desired. The Emperor, the greatest threat they had faced, lies broken and rotting upon blasted Terra, forever stuck within a state of undeath, forced to watch as the empire we built for him crumbles away due to the faith he placed in a species easily corrupted by the very powers they claim to fight. If we did as you said, and marched forth, claiming the Imperium for ourselves, so that you worthless zealots could lord over your praises to the Ruinous Four, what then would be left for us? We are not the legions we once were, and we will never again stride across the galaxy as lords of mankind, united in under a single banner. We are the servants of dark powers who seek only amusement in our actions, and praise brought forth through the bloody grind of our daily struggle. The Gods will never let us win, for in victory, we would cease to serve a purpose, and the universe would be robbed of the single greatest age for the Immaterium. In the grim darkness of our modern lives, there is only war, and that is exactly how the Gods wish it to be.
