Please don't complain about LSM 'nerfs' when bE bends over backwards to accommodate the never-ending complaining and bitching from their most populous, and profitable, playerbase, to the detriment of all other races, especially Eldar.

Literally renamed my warlock loadout I'm going to die and remade my painboy to just be a suicide poison bomber.

Yea, lets all gang up on some one who picked the game a few wks earlier this month ...sounds about fair.

LSM and CSM have taken a major hit this new patch, and as always Eldar received yet another buff.
Totally debatable. Depends on how you view things.

They claim they lowered their health, but they buffed their armor and lowered LSM/CSM penetration values.
Pen values of all base weapons ended up being upped from 80 -> 100 Making some niche weapons pointless.
Only way eldar have higher armor is if they stack all their buffs, protect 50% + new 20 % spell + Renewer... all can stack but requires super high teamwork.

Also, they lowered the JPA's armor to the point where 2 shots with a bolter will drop them. Absolutely great, if you like scoring dozens of deaths to friendly fire and devastators. If you include this with their lack of ability of going over knee high terrain, and now an objective is nearly unable to to be captured in certain maps (Elipsis).
Jpas have been complained about being OP in the previous meta, this was to counter that...rushing into a well entrenched point will always get you shot ...so you need to find the right fight as JPA.

Nerfing the Apothecary class, when the other faction's healers are capable of fighting still has caused a lack of them in given matches, as they are no longer capable of putting up with anything in comparison to Sorcerers and Painboyz.
WL and Sorcs are stat wise better supports due to ease of use on heal and so on but these 2 cant fight while healing unless they throw out hots before rushing in .
Painbois are probably on the lower tier of supports since they dont have options on main weapons and their dokk bombs are easily destroyed.
Apoths are still decent based on the fact they can use a bolter and defense vials.

If the game feels like an uphill task, sad but only way to get rid of it is to fight with friends from a guild.
Find a group of people to play with, try other factions and see how it feels and what the strengths and wkness of them are... take time to talk to people on the gen EC discord( https://discord.gg/0sYE0bP0nULicDjt) and discuss.

Hope in due time you'll come to enjoy( and sometimes rage) on the game that some of us have come to like.

The patch is so varied that discussing balance will be somewhat moot for awhile. Still, it's not as weighted in one direction as the OP thinks. Eldar aren't really UP, even though they doomsayed for weeks, and LSM aren't nerfed. Is there stuff to work on, yeah, but this is way off the mark.

Have little issue playing Apoths. Especially as a melee(CAUSE I'M A SANGUINARY PRIEST. SAY YOUR PRAYERS OR I CUT YOU)

I haven't downloaded the patch yet as I cant, I'm at work lol.

Saying that, I know exactly how bad its going to be, I mean we're talking next level bad.

Why? because that's the trend for every patch ever Melee is just screwed. Eldar are favoured and LSM are trampled under the weight of better mechanics for all other factions.

So for my own sanity when I get home? I'm not even going to bother logging in. I wont even download this god awful patch.

I wonder how many others will be doing the same. Shall we just call for a mass boycot? anyone who is not Ranged or Eldar will just bugger off and do something productive with their lives while the Ranged and Eldar community wait patiently in their 30 minute queue's wondering where everyone went?
