I know!Cult Mechanicum...knowledge and all that "It is in human nature to seek culpability in the times of tragedy." Oh yeah!
"It is in human nature to seek culpability in the times of tragedy." Oh yeah![/QUOTE] And don't forget Captain Titus from Warhammer 40k Space Marine. He's a Ultramarine Captain, Roboute Guilliman would be proud of. Lore says that the Ultras are the absolute lore keepers if it's about the Codex Astartes, BUT who says that everbody is so fanatic about that and that's THE ONE AND ONLY RIGHT WAY? This is why I love Captain Titus. He's not a typical "BUT THE CODEX ASTARTES SAYS"-whiner. He's cool-headed, all time focused, a quickthinker and adaptable, and adaptability is one of the most effective keys to survive and progress under any circumstances. His quotes says it all: (SPOILER BELOW!!!) Leandros: "The Codex Astartes warns against using jump packs to leap blindly into enemy fire -- and for a good reason." Titus: "Your days as a novice are behind you. Why do you still interpret the Codex so narrowly?" Leandros: "I look to its rules for guidance." Titus: "We all do. But there are also benefits to thinking for yourself, Leandros." _ Guardsman: "My lord, you have saved us." Titus: "Rise, Guardsman. You saved yourselves -- we thought you dead." _ *Titus succumbs his injury* Mira: "I see that the Ultramarines are human, after all." Titus: "More than you know, Leutenant." _ Leandros: "The Codex Astartes leaves no room for doubt: You cannot touch the Warp and emerge unscathed." Titus: "The Codex Astartes is a set of rules. They guide us... shape us as Ultramarines... teach us to hold duty and honor sacred above all. But how we live with those rules is the true test of a Space Marine. And you have failed." Read the "Reason why Titus is such a Badass"-part, it's hilarious XD http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Captain_Titus If it is about "Chem-Pan-Sey", TITUS IS MY MAN
the best part is when people discover that there is no captain titus in the war 40k timeline and discover that is cato sicarius the captain of the 2nd company.
it's something invented by relic, not part of the war 40k line. this is why when the dev of Eternal crusade have told us that "EC could be canon" people have been surprised, generally war 40k games are not canon (unless they are made about a story already canon).
I dont care what is canon or not, everything from Dawn of War games is on the Lexicanum and 40k wiki thus part of its lore.
Look, if that (swearing Mon´Keigh word) C.S. Goto wrote about Eldar, and Eldar stealing Imperial Tanks, or Avatar loosing to stupid Goro. No, that cant be. Dawn of War 2 made Eldar look finally cool. Just thanks god we have stories about Ultanash or Farseers like Eldrad Ulthran or Thirianna in Part of Seer.
if you talk about "headcanon" i accept and respect that. All are free to ignore the bad part or terrible writing and take the best of a certain faction.
