If I had a choice I'd go with Lugganath or Il-Kaithe.

As it stands, Saim-Hann is my current choice.
  2. I go with Ulthwé Banshee and Warlock.
As for Warlock, i want to see their weapons not just for show.

But why either of them for Warlock specifically?

But why Ulthwe for Warlock specifically?

For me it is the Seer councils, and the emphasis on that they use far more Farseers/Warlocks than any other Craftworld which subtly translates to more experienced / skillful / Powerful. :)

They're just my preferred Craftworlds. Lugg and Il don't really have Warlock-specific traits that I would prefer them for.

Then again, maybe Lugg would have some cool piratical Warlocks. Cutlass-style Witchblades anyone? Yes please.

Saim-Hann because of it's sense of honour and general martial ways, would enjoy using that Craftworld for a more swordplay oriented Warlock.
  5. How i see Ulthwé Warlock: they are not regular back standing ones who are just use there power behind there troops, we all know Ulthwé don't have enought aspect warriors, that is why they use black guards for multy role, but i am sure they are all well trained for any kind of situation.
And why Ulthwé Banshee: because their armor looks cool in black and white, and there is the stuff what they done in "The Pyre of Kiliak's Bane" along with Jain Zar.

well Warlock lovers....new info on how your class is planned to be made

So if your hoping for being able to hold your own in battle with psychic powers it looks like the current basic Warlock wont be the class to do it, youll probably have to hope for a elite/hero class,

and if getting a debuff to work requires you to maintain a target lock on the enemy continously, the gameplay we've seen from the twitchs would suggest that is going to be very very difficult

I still plan on destroy any enemy melee class with my warlock, it's ok if the devs put handicap me a little but I hope we have at least a elite warlock 100% focused on offense.

The buffs and debuffs have been mentioned alot, but what about the more substantial support powers? Conceal anyone? That ability supporting a squad of banshees would be more than useful :).

Is Warlock slated specifically as a 'support' class?

Because really our Farseer should be the dedicated support, but Warlock is a dedicated war psycker. Sure they have stuff that buffs as well, but their focus should be offensive, hence the split between the two.

And thank you for the updated info Tarl.

    Same for me.

I want to pierce 3 people in a row with my Singing Spear,
I want to throw my Singing Spear into some jerks motorcycle,

But most of all, I want to burnate the galaxy and it's dog with Immolate!

So many people like to mock us Eldar as a dying people, our empire has crumbled to dust, that we are too pretty for space, .. well don't worry, I will let them know how that feels. Except the pretty part, because they aren't some ugly ducklings to turn into swans, they are just ugly.

    Disappointing, but not surprising.

The Eldar are not often represented well. Eldar Warlocks are known to be some of the most powerful and destructively potent psykers of any species in the galaxy, period. The Eldar codex itself specifically states this.

Balance is important, of course, but if any of that ends up true then what we will end up with will not be Warlocks at all, just some variant of a lesser Seer taking his or her first steps on the Witch path.
