Agreed. Our Farseer is our support focus while Warlock should be the war seer. The impression I have is that Warlock and Sorc will mirror each other, and it makes it easier to balance. I wouldn't be surprised if every class has a mirror. I don't know if Sorc should do more damage than the Warlock, just the diff in spell appearance and maybe function. Like Immolate is an aoe spell, and the Sorc version of Chaos bolt would be approx same aoe area but spread in clumps of 4-5 spheres.
I think I have read that Farseers will be Heros/Elites so I dont expect them to be supports at all, but mini "gamechangers" if well used. Still, I agree that if implementing different mechanics its to complicated ""mirroring"" Walock / Sorc can be enough.
Might as well share this. I asked a question about support classes by PM a while back (so presumably this has a fair level of relevance in relation to a support Warlock).
No new info for you, sorry. But I think it would be good if you dated your quotes, so we can get an idea of how things are progressing in the minds of the devs.
Dating quotes I can do, just need to find out what the dates for the quotes I have were. So any info others could provide that shared the quotes would be great.
