Joking aside, I guess there are people who don't like how dwarfs (dwarves?) are described in Warhammer, but I guess they just wanted to make them more grimdark than your average "popular culture" dwarf.

Anyway, the way I see it, the fewer bearded guys I play, the more for all you beard lovers to enjoy the luxurious facial hair stylings of all to yourselves!

I extract four things from this (CET) nocturnal exchange.

1) Playing an Executioner just got more fun due to majority religion in this group.

2) Playing a Black Guard just got more fun due to them being genuinely unnerved by Khainites (srsly, there is a rule in the TT to represent this)

3) I am not the only Gotrek and Felix-shunned person! Huzzah! Mind you, I do like dwarfs of Warhammer, but due to how I read the books, these two will always be "those guys that accompanied Ulrika Magdova" to me, which has earned me an angry FLGS silence before. Srsly don't say that verbatim, ever.

4) In a similar vein to beards, I could tell you're short, Jori, because only short people thing being tall is awesome P As a tall person, I'd rather be shorter!
