Character accepted! Will add you with my next post Also, if you haven't already, you should read this post https://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/old-world-blues-whf-casual-rp.52629/page-50#post-1299953 to get some perspective on the RP and the current mission that will help you out Since you are a caster, there's a certain type of rules that I use to balance them out. As you probably saw in your research, there are couple of types of magic lore available in the Old World, each of them has a limited number of spells that do specific work and personalize the wizards using them, preventing overlapping and making everyone quite distinctive. Your character is using Lore of Fire and as such, has an access to a number of spells. Since you are somewhat of a novice\journeyman, you'll get access to 2 spells at the start (Signature spell + 1 of your choosing) and get more as the RP progresses. To put this into a perspective, @Maleth who plays the Druchi Sorceress has 2 spells + 3rd one he got as a mission reward. So, you have your signature spell available to you: - Fireball (Direct damage spell, the classic ) And now pick one from the spells below: 1. Cascading Fire-Cloak (put a cloak of fire around yourself or your target, making him immune to burning and causing everyone who attacks him to get burned or set on fire. Basically, a defensive augment spell). 2. Flaming Sword of Rhuin (weapon augment spell. You can place it on your sword or on your ally's weapon that will make it magical (which here it means that it can hurt beings unable to be hurt any other way, like for instance ghosts and cause fire damage on hit (which also prevents regeneration)). 3. Burning Head (Big magical head on fire that goes around and burns stuff and can cause fear to the enemies. It's like a projectile that you can control a bit and is more versatile than a simple fireball). Also, keep in mind that you can go for the bigger spell effect (like in TT), for instance if you pick the flaming sword, you can try to enchant an entire group of your allies with it instead of just one, but that will require more energy and a better roll because I'm doing a bit of rolling when it comes to spells just to keep it balanced Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't do minor things like kindling a fire, putting magic wards around yourself or on the ground, etc. But the real combat spells will be limited due to balancing and the fact wizards are quite powerful in the Old World.
Worry not, I'm back and ready to write Also, I find it funny how we now move at a slow and nice pace, instead of a fast pace right when the RP started when @Uriel1339 said he couldn't keep up at that time How the tables turned
@Colapse I guess I'll choose the Flaming sword of rhuin since I already have a sword. That way I can have a ranged and a melee attack!
I miss that little fiddle playing goblin. We could have had so many adventures with him on Blackhide's shoulder. Welcome to our family of misfits and lunatics! I hope you enjoy the bag pipes because the only musician in our group is a black orc with his own set of pipes!
Sorry for any plans you guys might have had but my orc senses said sod planning there be gits to fight.
Sorry for the lack of reply, I did not anticipate 3 hours to get home followed by having to get a new Skype account due to Microsoft fuckery. I shall hopefully be a Dark Elf again tomorrow!
