Black Orcs are bigger than normal orcs aye but Ogres are still bigger. Remember bro, it doesn't matter if you have black armor, huge axe, etc, you and the Ogre are on the same power level, just like any other char, that's what @Grall_Stonefist was trying to tell you That's the point of the RP and how I do it, for it's the best way to make it enjoyable - it must be balanced, because if it's not, then what's the point of it? There would be no point of taking different chars for there would clearly be differences and that would lead into bad GMing. I will definitely write another post before we start explaining the rules in more detail etc For you mate, always! The only restriction I have atm is no more magic users and no Chaos, undead, vampires and Tomb Kings chars.
Ok thank you for explaining that sorry I kinda overreacted there it's just that to me he sounded like he was belittling me but yeah anyways sorry again. This is gonna be a great rp from the looks of it so far and I can't wait until we can get started.
Character Name: Aleron Dacourt Race: Human Class: Knight of the Realm Equipment: Longsword, Shield, Plate Armor, and a suit of worn down Bretonnian finery. History: Fleeing Bretonnia for reasons he refuses to explain, Aleron swiftly discovered that in order to live in the Empire you need gold. Refusing to lower himself to manual labor, he instead became a sword for hire.
I like it mate! However, can you only remove the horse from the sheet, since getting mounts will be something we receive later on as rewards or something like that?
@Cousintp Thx mate @Uriel1339 @Grall_Stonefist @Vanestus @BadDo9 @Cousintp @Jorimel @Maleth @lord-watchman @Vulpas @Keidivh @matt23 @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Valonox Alright guys, I'll drop the list of the chars we got so far after this, I just wanted to write down couple of explanations on how I like to do things, those of you who already know it please look away - As for combat - since for the most part it'll be done in a narrative way, I do it with "cause-and-effect" style. What this means is, for instance @Keidivh char Kristoff is attacked by two Orc Choppas. What he should NOT write is: "Kristoff charged the Orcs, smashing the head of one with the blow of his hammer while slaying the other by breaking open his rib cage." Instead, he should write: "Kristoff charged the Orcs, trying to smash the head of one with the blow of his hammer while trying to hit the other in his chest and pulverize his rib cage." So basically, you write actions and I write reactions to them. Also, there might be a case where you are attacked by a dozen of Goblins and I say in OOC that you can kill three of them with your next post. In that case, you can emote the kill any way you see fit Finally, there will be some enemies with the "Boss" difficulty who will require more effort to kill and will be quite dangerous. And please keep it logical. Since it's a narrative-based system, I will try to decide actions based on lore and (fluff, not TT) logic. It leaves space for heroic actions and all, but don't expect to charge a herd of Beastmen and kill every one of them all by yourself - As for interacting with other people's chars - same rules from above. We all know that players don't like when other players emote actions of the chars which are not their own, and that's overall a rude behavior. So if the other player didn't allow it before, if you wish to emote the action please write your attempt first and I will decide if that can happen or not. For instance, @TuskatheDaemonKilla char wants to put @Uriel1339 char on his shoulder. Despite the Ork being stronger, if the Goblin doesn't want it, you can't presume you are stronger and that you can do it no matter what. Instead of it, you write your attempt and I'll decide if it'll happen or not. - No meta-gaming! - No PVP - you can trade banter and taunt around, but unless it's a extremely justified and proper reason for you to go and try to kill another character, I won't allow it. Simply - like I stated before, we are already breaking the lore for even forming such group (no way any of us would ever work together) and going around like that, so trying to go back on that now and act like a douchebag is not going to happen. For instance a High Elf sees a Dark Elf and immediately attacks him because of his race etc, that's not going to happen. Like I said, banter, tension, etc is normal and expected, but acting like a Khornate Berzerker in a glass-shop isn't - You will probably get rewards after each completed mission, I haven't finalized what that will be exactly but expect a mix of talents and items, usual stuff. Alright, that's all I can think of atm. If something else comes up, I'll write it down I'll also link this post to the first page for easier navigation. Expect for the RP to probably start tomorrow
Player name: Grall Stonefist Character name: Tugg brewgror Race: Ogre Role\Class: Butcher/Brewster Equipment: cleaver, reinforced cask, varius "small" tools and canisters for brewing and working with ingredients. A cauldron he uses as back pack and to do his majiks. History: Like all butchers, as soon as he as a "small" child showing magick affinity was taken to be trained by other butchers and slaughtermasters, where the training mostly consisted of eating alot of different things and learning gut magick. though after an incident at a great feast, Tugg realized that even if normal food was great, he cared alot more about drinking, and given he already had the freedom of being a butcher, Tugg decided to travel the world, finding the greatest ingredients and brewing methods. Player name: BadDo9 Character Name: Yanta'i Svvar Race: Wood Elf Role\Class: Wayfinder Equipment: War Bow (and arrows, obviously) ; Dual Longwords ; Forest Cloak ; Light Leather Hunting Armor ; Wilderness Survival Items (Skinning Knife, Flint and Steel, Etc.) ; Wolf Companion Named Talsin Appearance\History: Fuuu, you know I like to develop history in-RP :/ Player name: Vanestus Character name: Wazgag da Weird Race: Orc Role\Class: Shaman Equipment: Bone Staff, Iron Blade, Leather Robes, Potion Brewing Tools Appearance\History (Optional): Player name: Maleth Character name: Alozia Kalitara Race: Dark Elf Role\Class: Sorceress (Female) Equipment: Sorceress's Staff, Sorceress’s garb (To call them clothing would be to lend them too much credence as tasteful apparel by human standards) Appearance: With black hair and violet eyes, Alozia cuts a youthful appearance with her lithe figure. The Druchii’s clothing (If one could call it clothing) starts off with a dark metal headband with a ruby being prominently displayed on the part of the headband that touches her forehead. Her clothing then comes to a crimson high collar around her neck that is held in place with a tight necklace of purely sentimental value. Dark purple metal pauldrons is one of her apparel's few nods to actually protecting her, along with a pair of vambraces in the same colour. To reduce the irritation of metal on her pale skin, Aoliza has a turquoise leather underlay that fits snugly underneath the pauldrons and vambraces. To provide some token attempt to cover up her flesh, a red and black bra, open at the back covers up her front, with loose black sheets of fabric that hang down from the metal strings that holds her bra together going around her side to the back. Aside from a large window for her body’s sides, the fabric falls down to her shins and to cover her groin area, a bronze band which has two red sheets of fabric to cover both front and rear. History: Alozia Kalitara was born to humble parents and even when she was little, her arrogance was fast becoming one of her more prominent traits, often starting fights in an attempt to prove that she was superior to others, along with her capacity for magic. In her teenage years Alozia decided to fully capitalize upon her magic potential and so sought training to be a Sorceress, which was successfully granted by the Convent in Karond Kar. However, she found the Convent held little in the way of a future where she didn't have to suffer with dealing with the politicking within, so she left with only her staff and garb to go anywhere where she could pursue her life unfettered by politics and with a little more freedom. Player: Keidivh Character name: Kristoff von Volkald Race: Human Class: Wolf Priest of Ulric Equipment: two handed warhammer, large Arctic wolf fur cloak, copy of Ulric Creed and Liber Lupus, Arctic furs Companion: Vorgen, great Arctic wolf Appearance: Despite being in his mid 20's, Kristoff has a weathered, scarred face. He has dark skin with a bushy brown beard. Like the most devout in his order, he wears absolutely no armor, relying solely on his skill and the protection of Ulric to keep him alive. He wears simple white furs from beasts he killed himself. Like many in his order Kristoff towers over most other men, with massive muscles with which he wields his enormous warhammer. History: Born in Middenheim, Kristoff was a devoted follower of the God of winter and war, Ulric. At a young age he entered the dreaded woods of the Old World, slaying a mighty den mother wolf with his personally crafted warhammer, skinning the beast and taking the pup as his own. Now as a newly anointed Wolf Priest, Kristoff travels the Old World to spread Ulrics word and prove his might. Player Name:Tuska the Daemon Killa Character Name:Tuska Blackhide Race:Orc Class/Role:Black Orc/Tank Equipment:Set of Black orc armor with a black boar pelt as a cape/cloak, multiple throwing axes and knives though in the hands of a human or goblin they might as well be full sized axes and swords, a two handed double bladed axe taller than a man and too heavy for anyone smaller than an ork big 'un to use effectively, a set of squig pipes stitched together from countless squigs, a spiky shield made from the same black metal as his armor with a mace strapped to the front just in case he needs it, and a spare gauntlet with two large sharpened metal blades attached to the sides just to have another back up weapon. Appearance: Minus the missing eye and there you go. History: He came from the dark lands like most black orcs do when they get old and tough enough. Tuska was no different in this regard he was much bigger than your average Orc and has the same trade mark dark green skin tone that most certainly identifies him as being much more dangerous than your average greenskin. If the massive set of thick black plate armor and massive axe as long as an average human is tall he carries around didn't tip you off in the first place. In his early years he was a part of a savage Orc warband or atleast he thinks it was sines every one wasn't wearing any armore and only screamed waaagh! when they tried to talk to eachother. Needless to say he left that gang of morons and lunatics as quickly as he could for a more proper and less screamy warband of orcs headed to raid the stunties(dwarves). To say the least this didn't go well as he some how ended up in the empire on a wooden raft with a set of squig pipes on his lap. He did eventually get off the raft and found himself without a warband and in the middle of empire land so he decided he might as well be a mercenary seeing as some umie always wanted another umie with an choppa between his eyes. And that's how he ended up in the empire confused and kinda angry. Player name: Jorimel Character name: Khelandria Race: Druchii (Dark Elf) Role\Class: Witch Elf Equipment: Sword and dagger, spare dagger, jewellery, personal effects, large cloak, small supply of blade venoms Appearance\History (Optional): Khelandria is a Bride of Khaine who got the urge to travel and see the world (and optimally, spread the word of Khaine, though she doesn't hold out much hope for that - but she can at least kill in his name). She is a typical Witch Elf to look at - tall, beautiful, possessing alabaster skin and fierce, dark eyes to go with her wild black hair and truth be told mostly dressed in accessories. Her hair is often backcombed madly and sometimes might have blades in it. Her teeth are filed to points. Despite her savage appearance and battlefield rage, when she talks, she is very well-spoken and sounds rather posh - she comes from a very old noble Druchii family who trace their lineage back to the Sundering. Just because one is a psychotic killer with a devout belief in the Lord of Murder is no reason to be rude. More this than this until it's time to eviscerate. Some classic 80s - early 90s Marc Gibbons there. Normally I don't see eye to eye with putting scantily clad ladies in games, but there's something about the sheer murderous rage of Witch Elves that I've always liked that seems to set them apart for me. No-one treats them as mindless cheesecake twice. Player name: the lord watchman Character name: Sibaene Race: high elf Role\Class: noble (combat and deplomacy) female Equipment: heavy armor, long sword, sheild and short bow Appearance\History (Optional): Sibaene once in her past walked the pheonix kings halls, a advisor to generals and ambasador to the empire, she has lived for longer than she would admit to strangers but she has made a few enemies over her years, her last ten years have been in exhile for she was acused of being an agent of morathi, she proved these claims wrong but left on her own finding those she had trusted as freinds turn on her, she left her prized steed back with her family and took only her weapons and armor (below is a picture i found online which shows the apperence) Player name: Uriel1339 Character name: Fiddlesticks Race: Goblin Role\Class: Bard Equipment: Violin (aka Fiddle) A long, sharp knife. Light Brown Hat Black cloak Leather Vest Cotton Undershirt Appearance\History (Optional): Fiddlesticks wears a head big enough to cover his entire head, it's light brown and no special decorations at all, it may work as a money collection tool when playing for money. Sometimes he attempts to hide within it, but the hat is not big enough to hide his entire form, well luckily there are usual enough holes around to hide within! Other than that he wears a little cloak that goes to the center of his back, in cold nights also working as a blanket, or in dangerous situations a safety blanket. It may also be used as a napkin, raincoat and so much more. One could mistaken him for a really small and ugly halfling, would it be not for his grass-green skin and oversized, crummy nose. However what most people don't know about Fiddlesticks is that he wandered quite a lot the world, got a big vocabulary and got rid most of his goblin-talk. It helped that he wandered in a human-elf band for quite some time which helped him getting his vocals right over the years. Eventually when the band parted ways because they started blaming the poor Goblin for the lack of fame and riches. Ironically enough, a night after they apparently were ambushed by a bunch of Skaven and were killed. Fiddlesticks ever since wandered the lands by himself, ever looking for inspirations for new songs as he wanders aimlessly the world, cursed as the only sophisticated goblin ever in all of the lands. Player name: Valonox Character name: Vamir Tristhyra Race: High Elf Gender: Male Role\Class: Shadow Warrior Equipment: Elven Bow, Elven Longsword, Elven Shortsword Appearance\History (Optional): Dark Brown long hair, Peach skin, Sky blue eyes, taller than the average high elf Player name: Vulpas Character name:Ubarin Race:Human Role\Class: Gold battle wizard Equipment:Staff, Robes with hood and a leather jerkin and boots, Alchemical kit and mixing station (For developing various supplies including magic explosives and chemicals) Raven feed, pet raven Ares Appearance\History (Optional): Will post later Player name: matt23 Character name: Mariah De'Leon Race: Human (Bretonnia - Lyonesse) Role\Class: Rejected - Knight Errant Equipment: Sword and Shield with Family crest. A single dagger. Chainmail armor with leather accents, and helm. Torn up red cape. (No horse or lance) Family Crest: Description: Mariah is about 5'7" with long red hair and blue eyes. Her father, Darcel and brother, Marcus were both well respected knights under alliegence to a duke. Due to her father and brother gaining a little bit more fame than the parnoid duke could handle, he had them both killed before her eyes with a poisoned dagger. Mariah took up her father's shield, her brothers sword, and the dagger they were killed with a declared that she would take their places and kill the one who had them killed. The duke merely laughted and rejected her claim with insults. Vowing to honor her fallen family, she left her home lands in search of glory that would allow her to claim the title of knight. Player: Cousintp Character Name: Aleron Dacourt Race: Human Class: Knight of the Realm Equipment: Longsword, Shield, Plate Armor, and a suit of worn down Bretonnian finery.
