I didn't know if i should post this here but sadly Warhammer: Age of Reckoning is now dead...:( so this post is to the devs of Mythic Entertainment who tried their best and of course to WAR. Goodbye friend! You tried your best..

I remember waiting for this game, it's really a shame to see it gone. Hopefully though we perhaps one day see another Warhammer fantasy based mmo. (one which I hope will have a more "sandbox" approach.)

There is a private server at worst...
But truly a shame, so many potential falling into ruin... anyway WAR give me 5 great year of rvr. I hope make more on EC :p
  4. I will always miss my many f2p characters...
    RIP IN PEACE:(

It dying was the best thing that could happen because now maybe some other company can pick up the license and make a new Warhammer Fantasy MMO in a few years

WAR was not a good game and it is not a surprise it died
  6. In my opinon it was an "ok" game, but I agree with you it could've done better than what it was.
  7. Is there any functional private server for WAR? If so could I have a link?

I have played WAR for around 2 years and I had a great time playing RvR/PvE/Public Quest with a guild full of nice people. For me it was a good game, but now....It's gone....Forever. There is no way you can play the game anymore in its full glory.... Just like that.... Gone...

Can't they release the Server Source Code so people could host their own server and play ? Why does it have to die like this ? :(

    I'm kinda sad now :(

They should definitely release the source code , but I think they are doing "something" with the Fantasy IP.
