I know about that and what I was talking bout the dwarves who won over the elves in wrhammer fantasy. I mean made too much of a mistake? Not doing their arch type proud? Then just slowly change things , change names, recycle shit and so in they've done it before with medics, marines and so many others until they "got" what was "wanted" but what's done is done.
I do wish people would stop perpetuating that myth. The entire "Nommed by Tyranids" thing was an off-the-cuff-remark someone said at an event when asked one time too many "When is GW bringing back the Squats?" And I was told that by a GW employee. Yet it has been born out, though for the years that myth was going round (since around 3rd or 4th Ed.), up until the 6th Edition Rulebook was released and in the back of it on page 404 was a list of the Abhumans found in the Imperium. Squats were listed. So Squats are around, the same as Felinids, Neanders, Pelagers, Longshanks, and Troths. And they are all in the background, not on the Table Top.
