There are no real elves in AOS but they have dwarves. Pretty good trade off on our end if you ask me.
true but i have always liked sifi more then fantesy. I still say the reaon squats were pulled was not due to "lack of populairty" but because who ever decied it didnt like that the fantesy eqvilients wining over the elves so he went 'MAH ELVLES MUST RULEZ TEH SPACE, NO STUNTIES" speaking of whcih as this is a meme theard heres ya go
I would theorize that Squats were a little too Fantasy in Space and were viewed as being something more from the Rouge Trader days when 40k was more silly and not grimdark serious like it became. Though then again if they come from a high gravity world it is actually logical that they'd develop into a short, hardy race, but I maintain it was probably because they came off as not being SciFi, dark, or serious enough.
