I'll admit I missed counted. But we have been together since the launch of Planet Side 1. That was like back in 2003. So we've been together for about 11 years. We've practically become a little family. Even had a member from New Zealand come to the States and visit each of us.
I agree that PS2 lacks, for me, the traditional MMO qualities. For me PS2 is a MMOFPS, it is not trying to really add RPG elements into the game. There is some leveling up but honestly thats pretty secondary. That game is built around FPS and having a huge sustained area to play a COD type of game. My hope is that Eternal Crusade ends up more of a sandbox MMORPG than the FPS game that is PS2. Resources should be fought over, if we lose control of an area it shouldnt be ehhh, it should be well now we lost that mine and cant make those weapons as easily as before. I think something along the lines of EVE but without such a hands off attitude for griefing.
World of Warcraft is but one type of mmo its a mmorpg there are mmo racing mmoadvanture mmoshooter So by mmo the do not mean world of Warcraft more of ps2 or mount and blade warband
