Brothers... Inline of Be Transparent, we have started the PROMO only a few hours ago and our sales are up by 400% versus this week average.... Me HAPPY!!! But rest assure Founders who had already bought an upgrade, we will have something for you next year in a PROMO that you will be able to benefit from. I really feel extremely lucky to have a community like you. I am not dumb enough to believe that everything we do, even with my open answers, pleases ALL our Founders.... but I WILL try to please them all or die trying! Early in this project, when I was talking to executives of other studios about our vision of transparency and the fact that I TRUST fans as well as I TRUST my devs.... they told me I was crazy. That communities are just angry trolls that you can't have a discussion with. Well, over a year done now... and what we have: 3 Life ban for racism. Tough discussion YES where we had to admit we were wrong (early pricing, sidegrade monetisation, etc..) but that is HEALTHY for the project. Sometimes, I am actually having an easier time convincing you all than convincing internal stakeholder!! LOL ;-) I really wish you all a very good Holiday. Awesome. More people, more money. I don't see any problem with a discount to attract more players. We all paid what we did knowing what we'd get at the time we dropped the cash. The only thing bE owes us is a game. Imagine if the promo draws in 100-500 Eldar who are up until now just considering purchasing. Persuade the Xenos to meet their doom on Arkhona. For me, a sale for when the game isn't even out yet really sucks. I could have saved money and still got the exact same thing? It may not seem like a lot of money to some of you, but it's a fair chunk to me (this was my "work over summer" gift to myself). I understand that you've done it to increase sales, but a discount sale before the game is out - to me that's very unfair on those who have supported earlier. I'd like to ask, if there's no sort of recompense, could I have my upgrade packs refunded and then repurchase them at the discounted price? Being a University student, that amount of money is weeks worth of food! EDIT: I don't have any ill feelings towards you, I get why you did it and I know you wouldn't have wanted to cause problems
