Crusader Sergoros, I am not sure I understand you comment ''I would like them to be more subtle'' Since our approach is NOT to be subtle but instead to bring the whole community in the Adventure of making a videogame. We have been critic for showing very early gameplay footage with Grayboxing, we have been critic for being open on our Good deeds as well as the bad ones.... but now that many more in the industry now remember who they work for: YOU many other studios have our same approach. To be Truthfull and Transparent. If you check my post which I did before reading you, you will see that I DO tell the community that a Promo is to increase sales. I dont hide in blablabla... We just act based on our value which is the serve you an AMAZING game, step by step through early access and in the same time making usre that the studio has a profitable project. That balance is KEY in the business of making games..... And our vision is to bring you on board of this aventure with BOTH the UP and the DOWN... the difference being that if/when we will have a down.... we will involve the community in finding a solution. So Brother, I am MANY things... not all good... but Subtle is not one of them! ;-) I work for YOU but I have devs and corporation to feed to be able to work for you for a long time. Brother Graviel, Lie is a BIG accusation which mean INTENT. You say Lie ''again'' and I am not sure what you are refering too. Now, regarding the Founders Gift.... THANKS for noticing our error. I have said it MANY time: No Marketing Firewall between Devs and fans means that EVERYTHING you are seeing related to the project is done by the team and I. There is only 2 people on the team NOT making the game: Me and Katie our community manager. Every line of text on our site you read, every contest, pricing, promo is done by us. It means that we have a lot of different hat to wear. The fact that the Founders gift are still being given.... is news to me. Your post actually informed me. We were caught up with so many things during the end of November that we forgot to remove it from the backend system of our store. Since you made me realise this. I just check and we did forget as well the REFERENCE promo of getting 8K RTP vs 4K RTP was not changed for December. It was a November promo and contest only. Thanks for your vigilance, I will make sure that its corrected. Now, to be Fair and because both are an oversight from us. I will let it go for December but make sure its removed for January. Please, we ARE really listening to you. Ask me a question first before making a big negative statement. We WILL make more mistake. Brother, We have more promo to come in the next year that will again focus on our OLD Founders. Its almost Mathematically impossible to cover all old Founder in ONE Promo. Our Founders ranges from having spent 15$ to I think our biggest one is around 3K$. Our plan is really to provide benefit through our Promo to Old founders. Next year we will add merchandising and branded devices etc.... We will make sure that before the game launches we will have had many different promo to cover the breath of our initial Founders. regards Miguel
Yes, what you are saying is a REAL tough issue... but not an Eternal Crusade issue but more a pre-order/crowdfunding issue. That change in the business (early pre-order + crowdfunding) has open the door for so many horror stories. With Star Citizen, I saw it from the start where there is now I think 5 differents LEVEL of Backers and not based on what they paid but based on when they paid. It was manged the best way possible in order to be fair but it still generated some negative feelings. Brother Sergoros, I dont have the magic solution except: 1-Founders in essence will pay around 60% to even more less than what people will pay when the game launches. When the Game launches you pay 40$ for the Game. You get nothing more. Founders get to DOUBLE their money in getting 40K RTP + items + founders gifts + reference RTP + early access etc so Founders have already TONS of discount. 2-We will make sure that future Promo always focus on FOUNDERS first and that it cover a breath of element that they might want and not have bought yet. 3-We will NOT discount founders pack. If we ever need to do it for comemrcial reason we will waitfor many months after the Early Access is LIVE before we do... but I hope that we will never need too. Yep, we though about this as well but you remember the 2 objectives of the PROMO: help founders upgrade AND increase our December revenues. I have check in our sales history and matched it with my december Promo forcaste and if we we doing this..... the net of both would be 0$ I rather focus on next year promo that would please you something like different prices for our Merchadising (T-Shirt, Hoddy and Posters) for Founders vs none-founders. Very easy for me then to have a ''founders'' price and a ''regular'' price for these items. Like I said, I will work my bottom off to make sure we are fair to all. Miguel

Behold! Miguel is still our paladin! So far the founders have been treated very good (that's how I feel as a founder), specially considering the fact that more tokens await for us. We cannot complain.
I'm about to buy founder packs. I will propably buy Warrior, then upgrade to Captain. You say I'll save 20 on that huh. To my understanding it's a Sale, it's meant to exist at times like christmas. I don't really see a proplem. I can see the frustration if you've upgraded a week before sale or something, but else Not really. I can't see how you're being punished for buying it earlier. You showed your support to the game, yet you could have waited to show support, so that you could support it less (20$) The marketing is all about how much You're willing to give and you were willing. Also shouldn't people be Encouraged to buy Founder packs, instead of people who already bought getting more and more. You can buy it now and get this and this. You can buy it next year Jan. and get less. Besides, I would consider it the opposite of Punishment. You compare it to DayZ. Take DayZ, add early access modules, Alpha and Beta, Game key, 4 saveable characters, Points to buy extra customization to your character, special appearance options to show you supported the game, Emblems and Titles (Forums and game alike) and more. There is EC Founder packs. There's even a huge badge saying Early Access soon. Since you're a old founder, you should have a high chance of getting in that eh. Not necessarily, there will be a promotion for earliest Founders down the road so I expect it'll be a wash as far as return goes. But anyway the logic in that quote made me snort coffee. Cheers for the chuckle
