  1. Every time I play Doom 3 I keep thinking how nice it'd been to have an Imperial Guard game done with that engine, with player character being separated from rest of the forces in an incursion-ridden underhive/less-lethal-than-normal Space Hulk/someplace like that.

That in VR would've been sweet, your version sounds even better.

So far I really like this game ! Touch the wood !

All so far going in the good directions !

This production is my last hope for good 40K game !

  4. Last hope? GW is doing fine and they love selling licences(part of the reason they're doing fine), there's going to be more 40k games, good and bad. Any individual game that fails doesn't really hurt the franchise, a little less confidence in exchange for more publicity. All the while GW gets paid.

In short, last chance yeah right. They're going to keep selling the licence until someone nails the bullseye, then sell it some more.

Got the EA since spring, at the beginning a terrible state of gameplay and core mechanics.
But now this game is a total blast, I like it very much and the developing is straight forward.
Clear and open-minded. Look at their forums or watch some ingame vids.
If you like this kind of gameplay (slow down, cover a lot), you will be suprised how large their world seems like.
Coop games seems also a big fun at last, but did not try out yet.
It transports a lot of the grim dark future from my point of view.
